I have been helping out a scout camp up in michigan with the maintenance on vehicles they use year round. They have a 2001 dodge van (15 passenger). It is reported that it will not shift out of 1st gear. The two codes stored for the trans were p01740 and p01757. I did some google searches and and will continue too look. The one guy up there insists it needs to be rebuilt however I'm starting to feel it may be something involving the solenoid pack. I was not involved in the troubleshooting so that's about all I have. The trans has been removed from the van already. Just looking for thoughts and opinions on if a full rebuild is the best fix or if its something else small and simple.
