I got the T-Maxx. it is fun to run and every hobby shop has tons of the parts i always break.
Which ever one you get make sure you get a fail safe for it. That way you don't find out what happens when it runs away and hits a curb head on at full throttle. That was expensive. Ebay has tons of RTR's and hop up parts.

What's better is when it hauls into the ocean at full throttle...

That's a good way to burn a few hundred dollars...

Yep, had to get out because I couldn't afford that, bombing the truck, and guns - so the R/C had to go.

I've got a t-maxx too...a fail safe is one of the best investments you can buy for your rc car...that and rechargeable batteries, they last a lot longer, and you dont have to buy 12 or so new batteries every week.

Batteries? We're talking battery cars?

They're no fun, the true cars are nitro powered.
(Altough electric cars are probably more waterproof...)

No, controller batteries and onboard batteries to control the servo's. Nitro motors don't have a magneto or alternator, no way to power the servo's on their own

EDIT: What the heck did you do to get so much neg. rep?

'Cuz I'm so bad to the bone,
My leather pants don't chaff
And my biceps knock the girls prone,
I wear a necklace of steel gaffs
And my fightin' scars are shown,
'Cuz I'm so bad to the bone...

Anyone dieselize one of their r/c cars or trucks using a Davis Diesel Head? I have a USA 1 Nitro Crusher and I am going to put a head on it. I think it would be cool to be able to use kerosene as fuel.
