So my Lady Friend wrote her '04 Sunfire off last week, luckily there were no injuries. It was a fairly minor accident, she hit some loose gravel and went down a gentle ditch and through a barb wire fence, they are writing it off because of the dammage to the paint from the barb wire. So she needs a new car ASAP.

I'm going to go look at an 06 Sebring Touing tonight with a little under 30,000 miles.

Does anybody know anything about these??

Hit or miss, like all Chrysler non-CTD products. Probably not worse than her Sunfire, but likely not much better either.

 

We have an '03 sebring sedan, has been a great car for the wife, has 110K on it, was going to tell you how good its been, never need repaired other than normal wear items, but didnt want to jinx myself, so I wont tell you. Car will be mine here shortly, wife gets a new car, I get a old car to drive to work and money saved will go to parts to keep the truck going.

I beleive Dodge just released a RECALL on the Avenger and Sebring yesterday. Not sure if yours is truely a 2006 or 2007 but you may want to check it out.
