Dig a little into reviews and such and you'll learn a lot. Take the user review with a grain of salt...those that list no specifics, just say "truck is garbage" are wasted space. Oh yea and the HP/TQ specs are there as well. hook up to a tanker truck...those gas Dodges have quite the craving for fuel.
250/345 is what I remember from my 01 1500 gasser. Mileage (4x4 q/c) was about 13-14 empty going slow. 11-12mpg going 80-85mph hwy and 7-9mpg towing a 3500# boat/trlr.
SOld mine w/ 120k mi on the clock and the truck was essentially flawless w/ only one repair at the dlr, minor trans issue (stuck check valve or something).
Truck always uesd 1-2qts of oil in 3000mi between oil changes.
Other than fuel mileage, a great truck.
Note, factory spark plugs are JUNK! Repalced mine about 40k mi and the truck ran like crap, electrodes were almost gone. Put in Bosch platinum +4 (I think, have the 4 little electrode grounds). Still running strong at 120k on those plugs, did change the cap and rotor a few times.

My wifes 02 360 is on it's second engine, replaced at 50K, Loves Dino Juice, wife has a reverse commute (no traffic), it's all city no highway and she gets 10.5mpg. Highway we've squeaked 18mpg out of her keeping her at 60mph.
Of course the mileage was a huge improvement over her 3/4 ton lifted 3 row Suburban with a 350ci, she got 8-9mpgs no matter city/highway/loaded/unloaded.
