Engine is in a 1990 IHC truck probably a 4700 lo-profile. Truck has a 5 speed trans, does not have a 2 speed rear axle. On the side vent window is a statement powered by DT/DTA 360. <br><br>The owner seemed to think the engine was a DT466 but I have found reference (but no specs or problems) to the the 360 altho it was discontinued in 1993.<br><br>I suspect the DT/DTA 360 may have been before the DT466???<br><br>Old Trucks

I think they where limited to 195 HP...that a old engine havent seen one in many years they where used alot in farm machinery

pappyman, you are doing exactly what I want to do and that is tow cars (my own) in an enclosed car trailer. I need a trailer that will allow me to take at least 2 cars at a time. Need to move a few cars (too many per my wife).<br><br>Do you know of any enclosed car trailers a person can buy reasonable.<br><br>Old Truck

Most large enclosed trailers are not cheap...due to the raceing guys are always wanting them,take a look here you mite find something<br><br>http://www.racingjunk.com/partner/se...id=1&amp;Pid=2<br><br>For 2 cars ya need at lease 35 ft of floor on the main deck and I always get the heavy duty ramp door...good luck

I've really liked the 466 motor. Run it in several different applications. Seems to hold up well. Not a real power wagon though! [undecided]

IHC made a good motor with the DT series theres alot of them in schools buses and medium duty trucks...they had a real workout in farm machinery which was the testing ground for the DT series motors...other then injector failures these motors where bullet proof until recent years
