Wow, what a small world!

More rain. They are calling for evacuations along the Knik and Matanuska rivers due to flooding. I'm right in between the 2, on high ground.

Cold front came through yesterday afternoon. Got about 0.3" from it. I had just tilled the garden, and it was pretty gummy still from all the rain. Raked up mowed grass and clover in the rain and piled it near the garden for spreading around. Hope it encourages the worms to perforate the brick like dirt and get it draining like it should.

Got a little wooly south of me in and SE of the twin cities, though.

Another day of getting ready for "Family Day" at work. Pony rides and bouncy houses included. We are going to have "mandatory fun".

I guess the effort is worth it, but you'd think that after so many years I'd be better on the "voluntold" thing.

Got the new hydroboost hose in. Was cheaper at the dealer parts than anywhere else. It is the top hose with the counter weight. Someday soon, maybe I'll have time to change it. Looks like the fender liner has to come out to make room at the pump. My short arms won't reach from the top.

Stay safe and have some fun!

I have had good luck with the bark from the trees we cut/split for firewood, to break up that dry clay base. how does mulch work for ya? grass clips might not be dense enough....

Bark in San Fran? yeah, makes things a lot clearer now....

made a new friend, vet was all I could hope for and got situations ID'd , course of treatment laid out. so happy. despite 60 mph winds, soft top on jeep, heavy rain. cat thought she was in a washer.....

It's a mix of grass, clover, plantain, etc, pretty well chopped up by the mower. I used it last year in the asparagus and it did real well. What the worms don't eat tills in for organic in the soil at any time, but easily after the season or in the spring.

Hah I remember watching folks drop 7.00 in quarters into the one machine for one pack!
Now its 12.xx/pack/ here. No more machines too many people either stole the entire machine or destroyed them.

I remember booz and gas station commercials. I also remember when color TV and FM radio came out. 8 track tapes, 45's and 78's. I have trouble with the late 60's and early 70's though.

Rained so much today the pool overflowed. Looks like everybody is still soaked to the bone. Keep those floaties handy yall.

Got a date, the 17th. So, further than I hoped but there's a target in sight.
I'm all cross eyed, unshowered and still in pajamas from working on stuff all day. Wish my brain worked a little smoother on this typing, thinking, writing stuff. Takes me forever to churn stuff out

If anyone is interested I'm using the Knock 'Em Dead series books by Martin Yate that are suppose to be top of the class materials for preparing oneself for job search/resumes/interviews, etc. So, if anyone happens to be in the same boat or looking to update your stuff, give them a look. It's like taking your dog to training, not so much for the dog, but to teach the owner to understand the dog. The employer & job postings are the dogs and you learn how to twerk..err tweak your resume to get the impact you need from it. Anyway, really opened my eyes a bit, even just giving me some confidence that I can sell myself for more positions than I realized. Hmm, don't read that last sentence too many times.

That's much appreciated Top, I will keep that in mind

Claude, when think pay per view I think of sweaty boxers -the kind that fight in the ring with gloves, not the kind that some dude was wearing under his jeans in the summer
