Hey man, don't ask me that question. Now the first part of the question would have to be wrong, but let's not approach the second half. ....

Merry Christmas everyone. I feel like everyone here is family - I am the silent one always in the shadows listening, watching and learning.... I felt it time to say hi in the breakroom. Sometimes I think I know some of you as I've read your posts for years now, and the best part is I know if I needed your help or support - it would be there unquestioned.

I've learned a lot over the years from all of you and can really appreciate the truck knowledge I've gained and the chuckles and laughs I have from some of the good natured ribbing and teasing I read here. It's the one site I visit regularly.

A person can learn about beer, great neighbors, the weather from Florida to Alaska and even in Europe and Canada. We have those that have served their country and those that are serving currently (my thanks to both groups here). You can hear about personal events the good and the bad, babies being born, a new dog, a new house, a new job, the list goes on.

Anyway, maybe tomorrow if I wake up early enough - I can start the pooo.

Evenin Peoples, and Merry Christmas. A little late showing up. Been workin my buns off. (turning head making sure Bark is not sneaking up on me with his injector)

Was asked by a company man on our sister rig if I could watch his rig at night for him for a couple of days (been up goin on 38 hours now). Can't really tell anyone in my company what I was doing, but the experience for meand the confidence Mr. D has in me is a great reward.

We fixed all the boys steak for dinner today. There is an older lady up the road who brought them about 900 pounds of cookies. She has the best, proper, southern accent I have ever heard. When they get done with their hitch there gonna go over and clean up all the dead trees and stuff in her yard. She really is a sweet lady.

Good people out here in the trenches. Mad in case you were wondering, these are the folks you work so hard to protect!!!

Ya'll be good now, 8 more hours till bed time...

Jeff, I ain't the kind of guy who would try a sneak attack with my injector, I prefer a frontal attack.
Uh, you were talking about that turkey injector correct?
Geeez, now even a turkey injector doesnt sound right.
Wonder if you can use the same injector when preparing sheep?

Kind of an Adams/Partridge/Manson family reunion every time the place is full.
Glad you piped up! If you know the definition of dysfunctional you will fit in just fine (you don't have to be able to spell it).

I have a lot to chat about and need somebody to look at what I think is a boil for me.

About time. So basically you've been spying on us all this time. How neighborly. And how are we supposed to berate and belittle you if we don't know you're there?

No, he likes his victims to at least pretend to be willing participants!

That's not a boil, it's just your head.

1974 - Comedian Jack Benny died at age 80.

1991 - The Soviet Union's parliament formally voted the country out of existence.

1996 - Six-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey was found beaten and strangled in the basement of her family's home in Boulder, CO.

1998 - Iraq announced that it would fire on U.S. and British warplanes that patrol the skies over northern and southern Iraq.

2004 - Under the Indian Ocean, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake sent 500-mph waves across the Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. The tsunami killed at least 283,000 people in a dozen countries, including Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Sumatra, Thailand and India.

Greetings from up here eh.
Our daughter was up at 0400.
WE returned to bed at 0500 after the joyous craziness of a 5 yr old on overload.
I was and am truly grateful for what I have and watching the smiles the past few days has been really NICE!

Hat, I can relate to most of what you posted.
My father inlaw is fading. He tries hard to keep moving strong. I spend lots of time with him.
The other stuff I can relate to as well and experienced more of the dysfunction and efforts to control and manipulate...but only for a very short time.

When I got home Christmas Eve, I thanked the Big Guy and prayed for the folks that hmmmm...seem to want to be mean.

Nuff of that.
WE have had a very nice time and the Gratitude I have for this site and my extended Family escapes words.

I think I did pretty good. I can still see my shoes and breathe when I tie them.
