Just tell your wife your neck is sore from looking at girls drivin home. wont fix your neck pain but wont notice it due to the swelling in your face!!!

Sorry dude, I hate neck pain. Cold beer and hot water is my prescription for that. Maybe an internitent ice pack.

Or.... come to think of it, a dozen roses might just fix about everything that ails you...

Hmmm... no on the first idea. It only hurts when I breathe. I'm working on the beer. Tried a hot pack, no love. Not sure about the roses, I'm pretty sweet to the OL, and she takes care of me.

Good stuff on the pull... what's full? 300?

CRICKETS!! There is one behind the counter in my kitchen... the acoustics amplify the noise... I've been spraying in cracks, if I ain't got him by 9, the drill is coming out and the counter is getting moved...

300 is full.. The furthest of the night was 289. Allot of D-max's in the run. I was of 1 of 2 dodges.

I'd like to hook up to a sled sometime, but I'd probably tear my truck in half... not a pulling truck at all. I'd be in the 2.8 class, probably.

Not sure if I can describe it very well but here it goes...
At the base of your skull where it attaches to C-1 there are two processes (bumps) on either side of your spine where the tendons that attache your head to your neck are located. If you, or your wife, press on these with pretty firm pressure and rub at the same time. If you have it right, sometimes it takes a minute, you will feel your sinuses draining (at least that's what it feels like). These are a major pressure point for a great deal of ailments but one of the major ones is the muscular layer that runs up the back of your head. Also helps with sinus inflammation as well.

Give it a try, if nothing else, you will get the muscles to relax a bit, which will remove a bit of stress from your neck muscles which may help. Works for headaches in the center, temple area and sinuses as well.

On Edit... When you find the processes you press on the bottom, and press in an upward motion like you are trying to push up on them.

The OL rubbed on my neck for about 30 minutes earlier... no love. I'm stubborn, I guess.

Yeah, sled pulling... measured in feet...

Yeah, a bug bomb will get them, but I'm not leaving the house for 2 hours at 10 at night.

The crappy thing about crickets, you can can kill a thousand of them tonight, two nights later, all that stuff you sprayed and spread won't stop the fresh reinforcements.

The beer is really good tonight. Makes my neck feel a little better.

Yes you do. Seriously though, putting everything else in your life aside, you active duty guys have stress. When I was in, everytime something major was going on in world politics and stuff I could feel my BP go up and I wasnt even married. So even without kids and wife and stuff to worry about you gotta face it--you have stress.

Good deal, on the beer that is. Bug bombs leave a residue that kills returning invaders. thats why you have to close the cupboards where you have food. I know all about crickets. When I was irrigating my alfalfa, they used to come out of the cracks in the ground by the THOUSANDS!!! looked like a bad B movie. Took us about two or three weeks, one bomb a week but we eventually got rid of them. They leave a trail for others, once you break that trail, they will go somewhere else. That's what I was told anyway.

Try having here rub on those processes. Sounds weird I know, but it works, trust me...

Happened just before I got up for work and less than 6 blocks from my home.....

I've walked my kids across that intersection many times going for ice cream.....

Sadly, I get the driver for a looooooooooooong time and a family is missing their little girl forever.

I've learned how to deal with it... yeah, a lot of stress, but Parris Island taught me how to deal with massive amounts of stress coupled with multiple factors.

I started to explain my day, but it would have taken too long. That's why I get paid the big bucks.

Man, I bombed the HECK out of my house a few months ago... two weeks later, chirp chirp. I don't get many in the house, but I can hear them outside, they really like to get in the cracks of the soffet and get in the attic... I need to get about 10 tubes of caulk. These crickets are a lot louder than the east coast crickets I grew up on. I actually liked the east coast ones, relaxing...

I'll have her try that.

Ok, here's my crying part. Scotty and Lary, I know I have nothing on your pain. Rick, same thing when you look in the mirror in the morning...

I've got two tramadol and about 9 beers in me, ain't done anything really since I've been home, still feel a lot of pain in my knee. Neck is still singing, but not too bad. I can move it now, at least.

I'm just glad I'm not really hurt. I can honestly say that I am thankful for the pain I have, I know it could be a lot worse. I feel bad for you guys with chronic pain.

Ok. Off to bed, kinda late for me. See you guys in the AM.

Man, that is terrible. I don't know the people, but I am truly saddened. That's horrible. I hope the driver gets it.
