My wife has not been doing well lately. Had some tests and biopsies done, so far no news. She has a surgical procedure on Monday and I will be home for her on Mon and Tues. My gal has never once said she is exhausted or even close until these past few months.

Scotty - sorry about your wife. If any of your trips are going to take you through my neck of the woods, let me know.

Congrats Rick. Hang in there and make every day memorable - - you never know when it could be the last together. And don't let that roach get to ya. ......

Something spilled in the Ph0o0 when the lights went out at oh dark thirty. Bobby will let us know if was reactive or not.
Still hanging in there for now with the bus, aye. Make it work until everything else is up and running. Tell Punta Dunta to quit this stuff and get better. Hugs to her and weeone. And, there was a glow in the darkened room - - carefully followed to the glow and found the ph00 pot. Hey, it tasted great and I could see all the way out of the place after drinking it. Lasted all night - - wife couldn't sleep cuz of the light. Woooppppiiieeee.

That cartoon should have had the caption that all it every records is Obama speeches. Then I thought about that - - he isn't the looser - - WE ARE. GGRRRR. and our kids and grandkids. Man this election is vital. .....

OK, more company coming in tomorrow. Both guest rooms will be full for a few nights. Good people - - we will have fun.

OK, gone, - - have to finish spit and shine everything around here.

Hey Mom, so far I have not heard much about it so I stopped corresponding only to get the "we are actively pursuing this project, keep in touch" line.

Bobby, you have always had a glowing personality, now its even more INTENSE...go shine on those barking dogs and their owners in the other thread.

Howdy JWBM! You rode a zebra?

Scotty, will say a little prayer for our wife.

Hey people, I got nothing of substance to add. Cooling my heels watching tv, little glass of wine before bed. Ah wine.

You and Scotty have the same wife? I think maybe you should just put the wine bottle down now!

Prayers from here for your wife Scotty.

Morning all.

Pretty good conference the last 2 days. Now a couple of days of down-time before we head to New England next Monday. Be there for a month with just about every day consumed with fire safety stuff with the trailer.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th:

1788 - The Constitutional Convention decided that the first federal election was to be held on Wednesday the following February. On that day George Washington was elected as the first president of the United States. In addition, New York City was named the temporary national capital.

1789 - The United States Government took out its first loan.

1847 - U.S. forces took the hill Chapultepec during the Mexican-American War.

1862 - During the American Civil War General Lee's Order No. 191 was found by federal soldiers in Maryland.

1922 - In El Azizia, Libya, the highest shade temperature was recorded at 136.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

1948 - Margaret Chase Smith was elected to the U.S. Senate and became the first woman to serve in both houses of the U.S. Congress.

1959 - The Soviet Union's Luna 2 became the first space probe to reach the moon. It was launched the day before.

1971 - In New York, National Guardsmen stormed the Attica Correctional Facility and put an end to the four-day revolt. A total of 43 people were killed in the final assault. A committee was organized to investigate the riot on September 30, 1971.

1977 - The first diesel automobiles were introduced by General Motors.

1981 - U.S. Secretary of State Alexander M. Haig said the U.S. had physical evidence that Russia and its allies used poisonous biological weapons in Laos, Cambodia and Afghanistan.

1994 - U.S. President Bill Clinton signed a $30 billion crime bill into law.

1998 - The New York Times closed its Web site after hackers added offensive material.

2001 - U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell named Osama bin Laden as the prime suspect in the terror attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001. Limited commercial flights resumed in the U.S. for the first time in two days.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
A bicycle can't stand alone; it is two tired.

Coffee and ph00 are ready. I think there are donuts here too... they're round and have holes in the middle, but there's also this green fuzz...
