I use to work in the Golf industry, Both are great machine, we had a 932(gas) and 935 diesel, both had 72 inch deck. Easy to work on and real work horses. Mowed alot of rocks with both machines. Bearing last a long time if they are greased regularly. The 932 is 11 years old and was bought new, I just saw it last weekend, they still use it. I would not count out kubota, they make a good machine too, we had I believe it was an F2560 60 inch machine. It was a great machine until some one over heated it to the point the motor went(the radiator screen clogged with grass, younger guys was running it. )

Evenin' all,

About time for the graveyard shift to punch in. Did some catching up on the goings on around here. Hmmm.
Been a long weekend. Memorial service Saturday for 54 year old nephew that died suddenly of a massive heart attack 04/21. Sitting in his driveway smoking and listening to a ball game.
Two of my kids came to Houston for the service. It was good to see them. It ment a lot to my sister to have them here.
He lived with my sister, who is recovering from a stroke about a month ago.
I will be spending more time with my sister helping her.
No comment on mowers. Wife hired a lawn service to do it. Didn't want me to have a heat stroke or anything.
Trad thanks for sharing the story.
Drier stopped, hang up my work uniforms and bunky time.

Have a good un. Be safe out there, I be here for morning evin if I have to lite the fire and make it.

Davey

Evenin' All!

Finally checking in for the night. Busy start here.

Boss went home and left me at the helm so I had to clean up a bit before I could relax a bit.......

Rick- Excellent story and Pic!

Chaikwa- It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong and got what he deserved. THAT'S what comes with age and learning.......

Nice weather out there today and I slept through it. Without pain meds too! Healing up is going well. Still have a bit of muscle soreness and tension but an ice pack on occasion does the trick now.

Looks like the final bit of snow/ice will be gone from my yard in the next day or two so it'll be time to ramp up for yard work. Plenty of it this year. Serious plans for the dog pen.......

Mornin' all,

Gotta lite the fires and get the coffee and ph00 going. Chase down them frisky donuts and get them stuck on the counter.
Dragon still sleeping in the corner.
No trivia posted yet. No motovational posters on the walls. Oh well.
Coffee is reddy, good coffee this morning. Ph00 reddy, with secret stuff poured in it.
Things are getting back to normal. Prudent Student almost finished and gonna graduate this time. Wheee.
LOL at Shorts girls night out. I think she handled things very well.

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

Today is Monday, May 2ooth.

On this day in 1776 - France and Spain agreed to donate arms to American rebels fighting the British.

1797 - A mutiny in the British navy spread from Spithead to the rest of the fleet.

1863 - Confederate Gen. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson was wounded by his own men in the battle of Chancellorsville, VA. He died 8 days later.

1865 - U.S. President Andrew Johnson offered $100,000 reward for the capture of Confederate President Jefferson Davis.

1890 - The Oklahoma Territory was organized.

1926 - U.S. Marines landed in Nicaragua to put down a revolt and to protect U.S. interests. They did not depart until 1933.

1933 - Hitler banned trade unions in Germany.

1945 - Russians took Berlin after 12 days of fierce house-to-house fighting. The Allies announced the surrender of **** troops in Italy and parts of Austria.

1946 - Prisoners revolted at California's Alcatraz prison.

1970 - Student anti-war protesters at Ohio's Kent State University burn down the campus ROTC building. The National Guard took control of the campus.

1993 - Authorities said that they had recovered the remains of David Koresh from the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, TX.

2011 - US Special Forces killed and recovered the body of Osama Bin Ladin!

Greetings. On days off now. Needed them. Doing clean up of wind blown damage here.

Rick, thats the kind of experience that will stay with everyone for a lifetime.
I know from reading it, I would do the same.

Davey, glad the family is helping and supporting.

I think you might have to make the coffee more often. Feel free to adjust the Phoo00 pot whenever you like. I do.

Nice touch putting the perch on the roof of the breakroom for the old Buzzard's. Might have to put a 'lift' there for them to get up on the perch though.

MATT! good to see ya food buddy, no garden here- unless it can swim. hope to get store bought stuff to plant. that canned food from last year is delicious! can't miss out.

i posted a May Day Prayer in another thread. don't know enough to re post it here, happy hunting.

good to hear from ya rick, bigger hugs sent, but gentle due to aches and pains. snicker snicker- fun to wear them young ones out ain't it.

davey boy! smart in Houston heat to avoid lawn work. smile at them students- all of em!
Fiverbuildbob, competent work feels so good!
weekend was amazing! young bucks, smart bucks and real deer watching the lift. 36 square,12,000 nails/screws later my son, a father and son, hubby and me got steel roofing, trim and most cut outs done! have easy stuff and final trim to work on this week. 29 degrees to 86 and any extreme kind of wind and rain and snow. fun to watch your kid be a better worker than you. heheh. he even took all of us out to an IMAX movie in Rochester NY to see fast five (awesome) and fed us.
should not have had to- our sub order by a local pizza place put canned spinach on six subs (one big scoop at one end). I have never heard of that in my life.

took a two hour chunk out of our work to load up our 20 foot flatbed trailer
with OSB construction panels, tarps, and stuff headed down to Bham,AL. Knowing that our DTR guru rick and his family are safe brought it home to us.
some church caravan, so i know I will get my trailer back. In true fashion, I wrote funny messages all about rick on every cardboard box they let me near.
luv ya buddy. God is dusting off your seat in Heaven, just don't go too soon

nate-GREAT bobber bike on honda frame. lotta motor for a little weight, be safe and paint it cool!!!!
nice to see new guys posting- ask questions always and WELCOME!!!!!!

Is Larry TOP okay? you know, back to being Larry? bonding with redleg now?

Don I miss you! time for some green nymphs to tie up and I can't get my presentation right: smacking the top of the water here at the pond. or the koi are spitting it back at me......least when it rains I can get some practice in.

ofc marc, yes- get the yard cleaned up. you with the healing and baby on the way means hubby and i should build you the motorshop/storage/dog spa/playhouse for the girls- phenom building you and momma need. LOL! make my soak at Chena Hot Springs worthwhile then.... just had pics sent from a 'charity' build done in Anchorage that would put Don Trump's place to shame. seriously did NOT know you had welfare cheats up there.
try to help a brother out and 1% ask for the sun, moon and stars. wow. but it is still worth it for the 99% that would never ask for anything. I am sure all of you DTR guys feel the same way.

Hey girl, I need you down here - - these wimps really get my goat. Takes the old man to grab a hammer and swing it with his bumbed up shoulder. GGRRR. I have a bunch of steel siding to put on the barn - - could use some good help. THEN, you can head to Alaska. You be sure to stop at Liard Hot Springs on the way up - - just past Muncho Lake. We had a nice big bear come and check out the pool while we were in it. Thankfully he/she went in down in the lower part. That was a bit scary and head a lot of people running for the safety of the changing room.

Sort of fruitless day today - - did not get enough done. Now I have a problem in my irrigation system and can't find two of my station valves. Why can't someone make a diagram before they cover stuff up? DUH.........

OK, gone - - grabbed some coffee since my inner self said stay away from the ph00 today - - dirty shame some character has to mess up something soooo good. .....

Bob

My family has been in the golf industry for 2 generations now, they've ran pro shops and down grounds keeping. Dad has owned his business for 40 years. Always used Toros and JD's.

evenin' all,

geeezzzzz make extra special ph00 and some won't even try it.

Good luck 5erbob with the irritation system. Next time take pix of the stuff before it gets covered. I learned that trick the very hard way.

Prudent student has tapped another drum of midnight oil. There is a lite at the end of the tunnel, hope it is not some superheros locomotive headed this way.

I have no projects in my job jar. Job jar won't stay empty for long.

It bunky time.

Have a good evening, and be safe out there.

Davey
