It's a sneaky plot. We have no where near the number of armed forces as you - or the quality of equipment (which is sad, but that's another discussion). So, we put our dog sleds and igloos together.......and come up with a plan. Due to shear numbers and equipment availability, we're going to supress any defence to invasion using new warfare called climate control. It's very sneaky.

Boy, thanks for that heads up, Flash. I took off into the swamps in my shorts and tee shirt to hide from that truck. Only problem was I was sweating too much - - it was so hot the deer were all laying down and the gators were all sunning themselves. I figured I would just sit by the road dressed up in my snowsuit and they would never know it was me. Then, I could sneek up behind them, douse them with diesel fuel and BINGO, marshmallow roast.

Nice cloudy day here today with a cold front that has moved in - - thanks you Canucks - - you too, Scotty. It only reached a high of 72 today. Now it is going down and it is only 4:30 - - down to 70 all ready. It may go down as "cold" as 62 tonight. Man, better go plug in the truck. What am I talking about, I don't know how to plug in a truck. I jsust hear you guys talking about plugging in your trucks. Why do you do that? Does White Ghost have a plug?

Putting out the Christmas decorations. Don't know why - - just have to take them back down in three weeks - - doesn't make much sense. I think another round of golf would have been better use of my time - - agreed???

Take care and have a good one - - come in out of the cold, children. And if you insist on being outside, be sure to put on your mittens.

With all this COLD talk I'm going to have to make hot cocoa with mini marshmallows, sit in front of the fireplace, and try to warm up!

Don't y'all know COLD IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD!

Well, it got up to a whopping -19 Celsius today. Forecast is for near zero by the weekend, but still cold for tomorrow. I have to go to work, so I'll be donning my one piece Helly Hansen long underwear. I WILL get looks from folks because it'll look like I'm walking around in nothing more than jeans and a sweater.

Ahh, Helly's - what an invention!

It's going to get down to minus numbers here in Central Idaho!

Time to find some whiskey and warm up a bit...

Now that's getting cold... I grab another from McCall ID today...
I saw 18F on the overhead this morning, no idea what the real temperature was, but it's usually + or - a degree or two.

Supposed to get down to 12F tonight.

Big white stuff is supposed to fall all afternoon into the evening.

As it's been way to dang cold to play in the driveway, I still haven't gotten my front driveshaft on, I'm thinking I'll have to winch my way out of the TRAX parking lot tonight, lightpost to lightpost to lighpost.

Yep I knew it but I wondered if others did. Strange how they even up then the F scale slides faster.
I once read -45 F on my outdoor thermometer back in 1992. Wind Chill of
-83F Yes...MINUS 83
Insane. I stayed inside...had an indoor hot tub, genny power back up just in case and a woodstove...oh yeah... a freezer full of food so I was fine.
It gets to a point where the parts on cars start to snap off at those temps.
Saw many door handles fall off that winter. LOL

I still have not got any addresses for me to send my adoption applications.

What is really insane is the fact that you still live there!

Theres not many places I would choose to live in Canada other then where I am closest to family. If I had a choice I would be in the USA promoting my business and enjoying some nice weather.
