35" tires help

I just bought a truck that has 35x12.50 17's on it and the tires rub slightly on the bottom of the fender, i was wondering what i could do for this, it already has a 2" spacer on the front, i was wondering about putting a slightly smaller tire on in hopes it might fix it. Thanks

How wide of rims are you runnin with them? If they are 10 inch wide rims i know guys who have the same issue! Or you can do what 35" '05 said, trim the fender or move down a size.

Or you could do new lower control arms to help push the axle forward a bit. Lots of places have them, DT Profab, Skyjacker, Ranch (?), I'm sure Don Thuren could get you some as well.

My 315/75r/16 Buckshots measure out at 35-12.50 so yes the width wiuld be 315 but your aspect ratio would be a little lower since yours are 17 instead of sixteen.

hmm...my 35's never rubbed on the fender..just slightly ( enough to rub off the black coating) on the control arms.
My front fenders were trimmed for my 37's. And unless you look at the right angle...and know already, you dont even noticed its been trimmed a good 4 inches.

Id just trim it. But Im also plannin on a road armour bumper soon, so trimming didnt bother me.

I had to trim mine a little but not much, you can hardly even notice it... I love my 35"s I will never trade to a 33" again.

I have 35x12.50x16.5 on a 16x13 weld rim and i don't have any problems with tire rub on a 6" skyjacker lift kit.
