A friend has a Cummins 2wd, long box, quad cab and to solve the getting stuck issues, he has a 800# steel plate bolted in the box and good tires.

I believe I do have the diff. The new tires are making an amazing difference. I havent gotten too brave but my old stocker tires would spin constantly going up and down my unpaved drive way. The new tires have not broke loose once! It is awesome!!

I had traction problems with the stock Michelins, on and off road. Since switching to Toyo AT's it's not much of a problem anymore.
