Well, back from the fair, pulls were pretty decent, modified tractors.trucks.
Brother and cousin hooked in the diesel class, cousin took 2nd with his '00, brother took 3rd with his '03, both 6 speeds. I would love to tell you that I finished in the top 5, which is true, but there were only 5 entrants

yeppp, I actually did it, can't believe it but I did, distance was like 271 and change, could have had more, but I was skeered of busting my daily driver, so I cut it off when the sled started tuggin' hard. eh well, at least I can say I tried it...

BTW, edit: that was with the Predator on puff stacker with the puck off.

I was 5th place down at the Warren county fair, that was out of close to 25 trucks in the "modified diesel class" they run. And that was with my 93.

Wish I could have been up there, but there was too much going on here for me to do. Had to work on a truck for a friend before he left to go back to south Carolina, drill and tap for pyro and boost, he was hesitant to do it by himself.
Then I had to haul round bales and pick tractors up from the warren county fair.

Indeed, you should have, would have made for a whole 6 trucks then

I may have been misled, brother is saying that I was in 4th place, so maybe there is something to brag about His wife has a video of us, but it is on a vhs camcorder, don't know if I can get that online, kind of a let down to watch, not enogh smoke or wheel speed...

next time

someone is usually around, if not, try later, or earlier in the day, worth the wait.

Home again, truck pulls in PA were decent, a worked up 3rd Gen CTD took 1st, only full pull. Few pics from the event, couple vids, but unfortunately I have an old digital cam and it was dark by the time the pickups started, so not the greatest quality.

some nice miter cuts with rain caps:

local Chebby guy who used to win every year:

rest of the pics, and a couple vids are HERE
I know, the vids suck, but it gives some sound and smoke, what more do you need

Keith, what is going on at the fair tonight that you are heading up to?

I am getting a quad this weekend I think, so I will be down for a group ride somewhere. Maybe we could drag our fearless leader Steve out one of these weekends for a little riding.......
