bad news, I think my clutch started slipping on my way into work this morning. Smarty is only on SW3 Mild

 

I hope it doesn't rain, just washed my truck.

Loaded level 3 on the Smarty today, soft program with timing. Seems to have better throttle response and there isn't a ton of smoke, so far so good. Will run this for a little while and than switch to something else. Want to get the most MPG out of the truck now.

Brian, you should make the trip down tonight. I personally will only be there for an hour or so, have to get up super early tomorrow morning. Will be good to meet a fellow Jerseyan....

crap i have beeen super busy with work, and just hopped on this morning and saw you guys met at hooters last night. That sucks i missed it. Just got done being on call this past week and did is suck. must have had 25 emergency calls from all the storms. not much sleep for me this past week but the good news is i am done and paycheck.

it left the track under its own power, haven't heard from him since he got home tho, I was wise a guy by asking him right when we we starting if he was goin for that 12.5 run while we were there....... was not bad at all, hour and a half and we had it all back together. that's the overdrive unit, transfer case, cross member, and both drive shafts. I am not sure , but I think he left the smarty levels set to where he had them when that output shaft broke, so it had to be a fun ride home

Good to hear that Angelo is back on the road again, bet that is a load off his shoulders. I am assuming then that no one messed with anything on his truck while it vacationed @ Island? that is MAJOR plus for the whole ordeal...

Kalitta is a past NHRA champion that started racing at englishtown and sadly ended racing there as well.

Yea Pat I got hung up. I was pulling onto route 80 (nice timing) when I got a call from my friend saying he blew a tire out on his trailer on some road in the middle of Blairstown. I had to go bring him a spare becasue he didnt have one.
I was ******. I told him he owes me big for that...
