Hey Tom, I have a question about those tail lights you sold me. Any idea where I could get another set of wiring harnesses for them? My brother sounds interested in the set of red LED and I am running the smoked ones.

He also keeps trying to convince me to install a B&W goose neck in my truck. But then I would need an exhaust brake due to the heavier towing... Bad influence he is getting to be these days...

Ehh, I don't think anybody is too worried about them not being allowed. If anyone is that upset, there are other forums out there. Rules are rules, and we all gotta abide by them.

ok guys im sitting down with a 7 and7 lol. what a night. surpassed my overall goal with the truck tonight.the place was empty, could of gotten in 20 runs if i wanted to. started out in sw1 and blistered my old time of 13.7 to a 13.3. downloaded to sw3 and ran a 13.1 at102 with a 1.8 60ft. ran a couple of times in sw3 improving by a couple hundreths. i saw about 1500 egt's in the sw3 run, so i didnt push it more then that. but i did up the rail pressure and to the wild t/q management. then my last run i did a 13.0 flat at just over 102mph.im going to get the cooling mist next week. it lowers your egt's by 250. it will allow me to run sw7 and sw9 with no concerns about 1350, which was what my first run was in sw1. im looking at high 12's no problem. had a blast tonight with angelo. thanks for the help, again. talk more tommorow goodnight

whoa that smarty shaved a lot off your time, awesome, any traction issues or were you launching in 4x4 ?????? I take it you left it in sw 3 for the ride home and now daily driving, how is the smoke ? bit easier to control or is it tough to keep from blacking out the sky?. Keith ya had it coming, ya go out and do all that work, then ya leave us hanging and hardly tell us anything about how it runs, o I know how my truck works, don't you worry about that. You just need to pop in now and then or we will start taunting you into a response again. As long as you know we are just bustin chops. As for tonight, no clue, weather is supposed to get a bit nasty, not going anywhere far or fast the way that U joint sits.

 

Mike im not trying to leave yall hanging its just hard for me to type how my truck runs id rather show ya but iv been on call for the last 3 weeks and i havent been able to get down wit you guys. and i want to sooooo bad im going to go to island on the 13 def .

Pat, I called the manufacturer of those taillights (Depo) awhile back and was told that they don't sell the wiring harnesses separately. And thanks for the 1100 post shout-out, but for the record, I do post a lot in the tech forums, not just asking Mike what he is doing tonight.

 

74 bux later and I got a nice snell 2005 full face helmet on the way... gotta love ebay...... stopped off at Hanover Motorsports to try one on for size and happened to get there during their scratch and dent sale, free soda dogs and burgers . Parked right next to a 04.5 silver quad cab with fender flares, motometals, and an edge, showed him the smarty, and lethim have a tazte of it on the way out of there. I told him about the site and our group, hopefully he joins up and becomes one of the group.

 

Well I dropped the truck off for the new trans. I hope this is it for awhile. It's only 2 hours from the house to Lannings, not to bad really.
Had a blast at the track even though I was only a spectator. I bummed a ride from George so I wouldn't be tempted to take a couple of passes.

George I just ordered the jacket from Summit but it won't ship till the 9th. I hope I get it in time or I will have to borrow from you if you don't mind.

 

you made good time getting to lannings, good bunch of guys, you won't be disappointed. When are you due to go back and pick it up ? and how soon till you load the tnt on that and have a blast.

 

I will probably pick it up next Saturday. I'm already switching between the C5 and the TNT, so far the C5 put out 9 hp more. Will re-dyno after I get the trans in. Anyone up for a trip to Crazy Horse to dyno?
