Whos gonna be there?? Racing??

The pickup only thing last year was a flop and i don't even think they're doing it this year..,

it was like a week after the diesel truck nationals and all of 20 trucks were there. US diesel truck nationals is a HUGE event and very fun for the whole family, Monster trucks at night, wheelie pulling school bus, some guy jumps a bunch of cars in a suburban.... If you can get over watching 30 second dump trucks run down the 1/4... its worth it becuase the showup of pickups is awesome

all we did was burn mikmaze off the line with our 1st gen (that won't happen this time though he has more mods)

Brandon, they tried the pickup thing again back on Aug 2nd, but the threat of a t-storm cancelled it. It was rescheduled for Aug 29 or 30th, not sure if it's still on. Mike will chime in. I think I may make this one!

 

Pickup drags were rescheduled for Saturday the 29th.

I won't be there. I was just informed by work that I'll be spending my day in Camden.

The payout will be better though.

Wow hopefully you guys get a better turnout than last year, won't be at that.

i can't believe its already this early in the year. last year it was after the nats.

 

How was the turnout? please tell me there was at least 25 pickups

 

cancelled again...new date oct 10th......theres gonna be more then that there from what im hearing now.

 

oct 10th, thats something that i can prob. make.... i need to start getting to some of the local events to meet some of the people on here.

 

sept 19th is comin fast......... gonna be bigger and badder than last year............. hope to see a lot of folks in the stands and on the track.

well the re race day is gettin close, the schedule lists gates open at 12 am for the diesel truck event, but 10 am for the street muffled class......... sooooooooo I am bettin on bein able to get in the gates at 10 with the rest of em, and having a bit of time to relax and re tune for the race. fingers crossed that HTS comes through and gets a trans back to George in time.
