i say that anyone with a blue and grey 3rd gen dodge with a roll bar should get a 10 truck headstart and a minimum of 200 hp added to the highest shift spike and call it a true hp number.what ever you guys decide let me know.

I am good with that...or we could.......line up against all those cars and show them what our big slow trucks can do... Oh they are going to hate us that friday!!! Taking away their 15 seconds of fame in their fart can cars...

Roll Call for Chapter 18 Drag and Dyno Event

I want to get a roll call going so as to get an idea of how many people are coming, both participants and guests. I also want to know what events you're planning on being apart of...

Please keep it simple and to the point so I can refer to this list without to much confusion

Example would be:

John Q. Drag Race and Dyno, 2 guests.

Just wanted to update this thread with a new sponsorship. Jess and Buck of Duraflite Racing are going to offer up a $200 bounty for any Durmax or PSD that beats the fastest Cummins time at the track, there are a couple of exceptions.

I asked Jess to post up the details so everyone is aware of what the conditions are. Thanks Jess and Buck for the support!

first off the Duraflite will not be eligable for this cash.rules are simple.if a dmax or psd truck can run a lower et than a ctd truck, they will win 200 bucks..only one prize offered so if a ford and psd goes faster than a ctd the fastest of the 2 will win the prize.if no dmax or ford runs faster no prize awarded. hopefully this gives the psd and dmax guys something to shoot for...

on edit i want to add that to be eligable for this money your truck must have the needed safety equipment,ie no sub 11.49 runs without a bar.we dont want to support unsafe racing...

Let me add a little to what Jess has already said on the "11.49 Rule" at "Coastal Plains Dragway."

Their policy is "if you run a LOWER E.T. than 11.49, and do NOT have an IHRA approved roll cage in your truck YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED from running anymore at their track." This is do to their insurance requirements and the rules of their sanctioning body.

Thumbs up

Thanks Jess and Buck for the "extra support"! That should entice the Fords and Chevys to attend. Should make for a colorful evening!
No excuses now boys, sign up or shut up! I love competition!

I just want to add 1 thing to what John P said. If you run faster then 11.49, you will still be able to run the 1/8 mile but no more 1/4 mile runs til you get a roll bar.

Thanks again to Jess + Buck for helping with the event.
