NADM/Compd race in Alabama
NADM/Compd race in Alabama
Who all is going out to Steele, Alabama May 17th? I know myself and Brian B. will be attending and possibly John_P. It would be great if we could have a good showing from our NC groups.
I was supposed to go, but I've been sick and today was the first time I started pulling the tranny. I should have it out by Monday, unless wifey lets me do it tomorrow. Course, isn't it supposed to rain tomorrow?
Guess I'll take the day off.

Pretty depressing, 17 views and only two replies. I guess until we have a race in NC again not many people are willing to travel, these high fuel prices are crap.
I try to make as many as I can because I feel it's important to show support for the diesel racing organizations that look after the racers. I just thought some would surely show up if they had missed the TS event. The possibility of seeing someone line up against the Banks truck is just too good to miss watching in person.
Well I guess there's always next year when fuel prices will surely be cheaper, right.

Sad thing is I dont even have to work. I will be up in Va getting a billet output and the OD freshened up. I would probly be able to make it to more events if I would just listen to people.

If you guys are coming here....
Please keep in touch. I'm only 30 miles from Steele and would love to get up with some of you. Lots of good barbecue joints around here.

Mike and Rick:
Johnner and I are still planning on going to this event. We will probably not leave until later in the afternoon on Friday though because Johnner has to work. Might be an "all night drive."
Jimmy and Dale Smith are planning on being there with the Pro-Street Truck and the Scheid Dragster should be there as well.
