code problems P0633 and P0336
So my check engine light came on this morning and it gave me those 2 codes. i looked up online and the 0633 said the SKIM Key is not programmed in the PCM, and the 0336 said the crankshaft position sensor performance signal. Does anybody know what these means or how to fix them? i called the auto zone here in good ol j-ville (we all know how much help they r) and the guy told me to "unhook my battery and see if the codes go away" if anyone can help me with this problem it would be very helpful. thanks guys

thanks for the help on the one code, if you know anyway i can figure out how to fix that other code it would help alot. my truck sounds a lil funny when i first start off. and it kinda sounds like my fuel pump is having to work harder when the truck is cold. once i get up and going things seem fine.

I would try another key for awhile and see if that helps.
I was recently up north in colder weather and my 2006 did the same thing.

I had my truck pop the skim key code before and I just cleared it with the smarty and the code has not come back since.
The crankshaft code will pop every once in awhile and is nothing to worry about if you have a TST, just clear it and keep driving.
