Sorry about that John and David.

David I did get it posted on the local section of the Duramax forum. 8 hours - should be the perfect beginning of the year test and tune session for guys to get their new mods dialed in. And some real Chevy vs Ford vs Dodge action.

I can see where you would think I was contridicting myself, but let me explain what I meant.

Your common rail setup is hands down better than our HUEI setup plus I have to hope my HPOP can keep up with these larger injectors.

Yes..I do have too much fuel now and that makes it inefficient because it chokes out my modded stock turbo thus the reason for some nitrous.

I could go to a non-vgt for more power, but my tuner(Innovative Diesel)advised me against it because I drive it daily and tow.
He said I would have issues with high egt's and I'm not going that route because I'm not going for an all out race truck plus I personally don't take this stuff too serious anyway.

I have a full blown race truck(gas)that I race, but still like to see the diesels run fast too no matter the brand.

I hope we can have a good turn out and I look forward to meeting some of you guys and making new friends!!!!

If I can get my valvesprings swapped then I'll plan on it. I have drawings made for a tool and hopefully can work on it next week. The coolant overpressure system is on, so that's half the battle. I have to see what the TNT/R will do on the track... it sure feels good on the street

Johnner, if you don't get the truck done by then, just bring the Firebird Trans Am Ram Air down!

Johnner,
Cris and I have the 24 valve spring tool down at his house if you want to borrow it.
I just got my relief valve from Tim yesterday so I'm 98% sure I'll be there.

No.....I honestly only posted it here because I know John and know that he has several friends localy that are on this site that might want to go.

This track rental is pretty expensive so it was my idea to bring in some diesels to add some extra flavor and excitement to the grudge racing plus test&tune

If you know anyone on the ORG that wants to attend please invite them!

...I am a member of several diesel sites and honestly most of the members don't go to the track they just like to talk trucks.

John invited me to this site and there are several guys here that frequent the track so I saw it as a great opportunity to give them a chance to get some private testing in.

I hope we have a great turn out!

I bet that smarty woke your truck up!

I left the valvespring tool I bought at Cris's in case someone needed to borrow it. Just give him a call. It worked like a charm on mine doing 4 valves at a time.
