Chris, Make sure you give us some advance notice for your trip back to NC. I'm planning on going to FL to visit the folks sometime this year, maybe we can meet up somewhere to grab a bit to eat and talk about the Ford guys..

I'll put the word out when we are heading North, who knows I might be driving a FORD by then. When I see some of them in a parking lot all the hoods are shut. When ever I see more than two dodges in a parking lot at least one of the hoods is open.

NOT. I think my blue truck with nearly 200K miles is going to be the last truck I ever buy.

I sure do miss all the friendship of all you good folks.

It seems like its been a long time since we got together How is your son doing? I know I don't have to worry about you, but I do worry about him. Next time you talk to him, tell him his DTR family is thinking about and praying for him. Make sure that he knows that we thank him for what he is doing for our country.

He gets on the site from time to time over there. I remember when I was a L/Cpl they didn't even have computers.
I get e mails from him weekly or so depending on what is going on. He sounds like he is doing fine.
I have a few ideas but I will let them be known when it is closer for his return.
That is in the Feb/Mar time frame

As far as me goes I have been busy doing house stuff/yard stuff/honeydo stuff and now it is time to find a JOB.
Leigh Ann has been busy going all over the place she is over there somewhere and is due back sometime this week.

hey pete, i didnt see you until i was just past you. i was lookin at something just before you. hows it been goin. did you get your transmission fixed. i heard something about it leaking when you were at the track.

 

OH yeah I got it fixed alright. I only lost about 3 qt's so it wasnt too bad lol.
