Brian B gets his day in Greensboro

After not being able to dyno at our last dyno because of a transmission problem. Our friend Brian Buchanan got his overdrive hiccup fixed, so it was time to spin the rollers. I met up with Brian and Jerry this afternoon to witness the inaugural run of Might White #2.

For no more than Brian and Jerry have done to the truck, it did very well.

Below is a dyno graph and some videos. Congrats Brian!

your friend,

Mike

As much as fuel prices have been I don't blame anyone for sticking close to home. Hopefully, we can all meet up at Wayne's sometime this summer.

Everyone is getting ready for your event out at OBX. We'll have to work on Brian to bring his truck out to OBX, he's talking about driving a gas rig out there...

Speaking of Waynes, I'm heading there on Saturday if anyone wants to join me. Gonna see if I can't hit 500 on fuel alone.

Dyno day

After troubleshooting the Suncoast swap from the 01' to the 97', we had no overdrive Friday night at 10:00 P.M.. They changed the transducer pressure solonoid, so Monday we had to change the complete valve body wiring harness and all sensors.
Pulling the twins off of the 01' Friday, and waiting on the big sticks!

Mike D, Thanks for the video work, your handy as a shirt pocket.
JohnP, hope you will have your 12 valve back by OBX, I need to look again!
Marine4life, I still got a little of the squeeze left over from Saturday, I'll hold the bottle if Mr. Porterfield will regulate it. HA! HA! (see videos)
Had a blast, see ya'll at OBX.
Thanks,
Brian

John, You can tell by the look in Brian's eye he's already got plans for his old guard 12 valve.

Brian:

Great to see you on here posting again buddy!

Brian, I will help you spray nitrous ANYTIME these guys are game!!
I told Bryan that we "took it easy" on his truck, versus what we did on Mark Morton's truck there at the Durham Dyno Day! We gave Bryan 54 H.P. but Mark Morton got over 100 H.P.!! Looking forward to seeing you again at OBX Brian. Hey, I am going to just bring you those wastegate gaskets at OBX!

---------
Bryan:

I will be bringing my flat-bed trailer to OBX. Also, I will be at Waynes on Saturday and am going to post a thread on it also. Wayne asked that we wait until after 12:00 Noon to show up as he has a pretty heavy schedule with the cars already in the morning. So, we will see you at about 12:00 noon.
