CHAPTER 7 UPDATE FOR THE Feb. 14th MEETING:
OK folks, we're off and running. By truck count so far, I have 14 to 16 trucks. I have reserved the banquet room at the Diner from 12:00 till 15:00 hours for twenty to thirty people and told them we would eat from the menu. That way everyone can choose what they want. That is cool cause the room is in the back sorta away from the general populace. The food is good and it is reasonably priced. They also have any food ever imagined made from peanuts. They have cinamin coated Pecans that will make your tounge slap your brains out.
Plenty of parking right at the diner.
My sons place is only about two blocks away and he wants us to go there and get a group pic from top of his house (him and his honey are getting married this weekend coming up). He has hand tools and air tools in case the weather would permit us to do some minor work.
You can look up Wakefield on the map and see where you need to get to. If you need special instructions, be sure and let me know. The diner is right on Rt 460 in the middle of town.
We need to talk a little business while there, mainly the Second Annual Claremont Roundup to see if we can make it happen again.
ONE WORD OR CAUTION if you are coming through Waverly, do the speed limit and no more. There is a little red Dodge Intrepid with blue lights hidden all over it and the guy has a real big ink pen and loves to use those lights if you know what I mean.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

I am seriously looking forward to this. I'm just not getting enough diesel fumes in my diet lately. I sit behind my truck taking in deep breaths but it just ain't enough. I figure it's gonna take 5 or 6 more Cummins equipped trucks to satisfy my need.
I might even bring a lady friend, if she can drag herself out of the rack early Saturday morning.

I don't know if I will be able to make the meeting on the 14th, but I wanted you to know that if you need anything taken care of around the house while you are gone, feel free to give me a call.
We will do what we can to help while you are gone. Hopefully all will go well, but things have a way of breaking when you aren't around to fix them

I am sure with the great members we have in our chapters we can find the way to patch things up till you get back.
Stay safe!
