It wasn't me. It was my "friends" that made the impression. I'd been at charlie's for all of 5 minutes before he started ripping on me. And I hadn't even introduced myself.

Turns out the clock spring breaking mighta saved me some money. It's only $80 from the dealer. I'm gonna try and get by there today before they close and install it because not having cruise sucks.

Read up on the install before you do it....you can mess one up if you dont watch out. They are locked to center IIRC when you get them. Your wheels needs to be centered and such.....take the AB out, and you need to pull the steering wheel...so get a puller. other than that...its pretty simple......just keep it centered.....that is the biggie

Oh Blue you wouldn't feel right if the guys didn't give you a hard time!! Your ticked cause you are having to "nickle and dime" to pay for some little crap that just happens to ALL cars (Mom's GX470 just had a window motor replaced and the navigation computer replaced and its a Toyota, Step dads RR just had the light switch go out, any car that I have ever owned, been around, or worked on have always had some crap go wrong, all of em.)... Hey at least you didn't have to nicle and dime your way through all $3500 on an new head and associated crap....... yet....

Glad you got the CC figured out, I couldn't live without mine...

Your right. My pipes were only $350.

Yeah. I need to get a puller. I think. I read on here that you might not need one? I dunno. I'm gonna check the FSM before I go tearing into it. From what I've read it's not to bad.

Brian, yes, I'm glad I haven't had to nickel and dime my way through $3500 and hopefully when I do it'll be on my time and not it's.

On a side note, after talking with my boss it looks like I'll be able to get billet shafts before summers out and maybe, just maybe, twins.

And they aren't that expensive, especially if you work on mutiliple types of vehicles. Comes in real handy to pull balancers on the gas motors I used to be able to work on.

Yeah. Anymore it's easier for me to just buy the tool than rent it. That's why I have a pickle fork and pit man arm puller. I was using them so much that having to rent them was a pain.
