Well Folks, it's that time of year. Time to start planning for the 4th annual Texas Rally.
We've got the barn at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort http://www.buckhornlake.com/index_main.htm reserved the weekend of October 11-12th. This is where we had the Rally in 2001. Rally sites are $20 per night. This campsite has telephone, cable TV, and even high speed internet connections at each site.
For those that don't have campers, below is a list of hotels in the area.

We are still in the initial planning stages so any suggestions are welcome.
We'll have the pre-registrations ready in the next few weeks. It will be very important to get pre-registered so we can make sure we have enough food cooked. Buckhorn Lake has a fully staffed kitchen that wil be preparing the food for us and I want to make sure we get a good headcount.
As always, we want to have a good vendor turnout so if you know of anyone that would be interested in setting up a booth, just have them e-mail me at rallyinfo@lstdr.org for the information.
So mark your calendars and polish up the rigs cause it's gonna be a great time!!

This is our Thanksgiving up here eh.
I am also attending Battle at the BUTTE...a strongman comp that wknd. 8)
Gonzo boy...pick a date in the dead of winter for another show as I will need to get out of the freezer. :'(

As of an hour ago there is a remote chance that I will be Texas next weekend. Will know by Tuesday. Looked on my Texas map but it does not list anything to do with Buckhorn. Can anyone tell me what town/city it is close to?

Kerrville, Texas,,,,north of San Antonio about an hour,just past Boerne on I-10.

Texas TDR Rally-Need anything?
I will be going to Kerrville on Friday. Hope to meet some of you there. If anyone is going and needs something let me know. I am offering some big show discounts (call for specials), they apply to anything ordered this week to anyone anywhere. If you have been waiting to order anything now is the time. I will take orders for Kerrville delivery untill Thursday morning. And specials will be on untill next Monday.
