Joel:

I will try to get the motel information together this week for you guys.
I spoke with Chris late last week and he needs to contact Wayne and
the drag strip first to make sure we can schedule this thing.

Thats cool, even if we can't dyno or race, it would still be good to get together again for a while. I'm good to get away for a weekend before we shut down again.

Count me in. I need to see what my truck can do. I might be able to give Chris's 1 ton a run.

If everything goes as I hope there will be a 3500 powered by a little six cylinder that will run in the 13/14 second in the Quarter mile. Of course it is one of those that is for folks with a lazy left foot, (AKA shiftless) I plan on running my somewhat stock truck as well.

Hello to all
Great to hear from all of you.

Leigh Ann isn't very happy these past few days they pushed her back to either 9-11 March now. I understand her feelings. She has been over there for 8 months now and is more than ready to come HOME.

Tom
You will be racing her and if need be we can put Geoffrey in the drivers seat, he did a super job back in Dec.

The Event
I talked to Wayne and he is good to go with us coming to his shop on the 2nd. If you could please either let me know via this site or pm John_P or I if you plan on spinning the dyno. Wayne and I talked and if need be he is willing to dyno some trucks on friday night, so I need to know who is planning on spinning the rollers.
I plan on running a strong running stock white 3500, I am hoping it runs as good as my strong running stock 2500.

I hope to get the final word from the race track folks in the AM. In April they start running the race track on Saturday afternoons, with that said the intial plan is to dyn trucks in the morning and early afternoon and then when the race track opens move a couple of miles down the road and go racing.

John_P and I are also working on a few extra things for this event.
I will be dragging the goose neck to the event so if some one needs to be hauled home.
We are hoping that the weather will be warmer than it was in Dec.
Dyno 1 maybe 2 Race 2

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
See Ya
Chris

I'm going to try what Hammer said they do where he dyno's at. I'm getting a 5in. flex hose and some nomex. That won't work on the trucks with stacks but it will work for the others.
We'll just close the door when Tim runs

Wayne,
Will the 5" flex hose and nomex fit over the Large chrome tips we have? I know my tip measures a hair over five inches. I am not saying I will blow any smole, but the possibilities are there.

Wayne pm me your shop phone number when you get a chance. I am interested in renting the dyno for a hour on friday. I have new twins and new injectors and have not had time to tune anything yet. Im glad you are gonna keep the smoke out of your shop, it took longer to clean the inside my truck than it took you to clean your walls. Tim

If you do it on that Friday, I would like to come down and hang out. I live about a mile from there.

Most of you know Leigh Ann and know that she is a "NUT" when it comes to racing and such. I will post when she finally gets home. She has been deployed for 8 months already and I was deployed 4 months before she left.
Thanks for all the great replies so far.
It would be great for someone like Jeff Garmon to bring the drag truck, or any of the other drag trucks that think they can run with him that would really show the folks what a "smoky ole slow diesel" can do.

Tom
I heard that you have been working on your truck, from what I ve heard your truck should run prettyt fast.

.
See Ya
Chris
