Salt Lake City get together
Looking to maybe have a get-together in April here in Salt Lake City. had one last year and was fun, maybe a mini rally afterwards?? Should be warmer then...<br><br>looking at the Red Robin at Valley fair mall about 3300 south and off I-215. just on the south west corner of the mall parking lot. Usually has a lot of room for parking and I bet the restaraunt won't be very busy.<br><br>how does Sat. April 12 or 19th sound to everyone? any other ideas? <br><br>Eric<br><br>

I actually prefer the 19th myself.
Not planning on the long drive to (through) Idaho on the 12th though, so that would work as well.
Might actually be able to sit around and shoot the poop afterwards this time.
Maybe I'll be able to show off my bumper as well ;D
(should be ready in about a week)

Ok, 1 vote for the 19th. Sounds good to me.<br>Phox, If you know the E-mails of some of the others here in SLC, could you E-mail them and direct them to this thread? and aldo let them know of the get together?<br>Dave (Big Dawg on TDR ) had a lot of them but he moved to Florida Don't know if he still has the list...<br>

Sorry, I don't know any of the emails.<br>Barely know their screen names.<br><br>We'll just have to keep bumping this up every couple of days.<br><br>Since I haven't been able to get with you about the winter fronts maybe you'll have to bring along a couple sets with you.<br>Yes, it will be after winter, but. . . .<br>Maybe a set or two of the mud flaps as well.<br>(my front ones got tore up by my new tires, gotta figure out how to keep the grime off the side of my truck now, once I solve the rubbing problem)<br><br><br>phox

We would have to reserve Phantom's dyno and probably commit to a definate number of runs. I believe they're normally closed on Saturdays. Usually you need an appointment at least a week in advance to get dynoed during normal business hours.

Bart, If they are closed on Sat, do they open for special events like ours? if we reserved a # of runs?
Theres a Test N tune at The RMR dragway on the 19th maybe that can be an alternative event to do.
EDIT: I see that it says Dual on the spot for where, either drag or oval.... don't know what that means.....
on the 18th midnight, there is the street legal drags going on.

I have only a 4 wire bluechip and one time did a 17.6 (2nd time I ever did a drag)----in a 6 speed no less......
