PATDC Meet -n- Greet. January '06
Thanks for the offer, but it's not driveable at the moment. I was planning to get it all done on Sunday (you remember, the sunny, sort of warm day
) but the parts store sold me the wrong heater core. I have all the right parts now, just waiting on dry weather.

I have GREAT confidence that you will have it all back together. In fact, I bet you could take that WHOLE truck apart, and put it back together, at 1am, in the middle of a hurricane, in the middle of nowhere!
Seriously, even if it weren't, even if my CP3 parts are in this week, I'm not going to schedule the replacement until next week anyway, so I have my truck for this weekend.

I am putting off the body shop one more week so they don't screw up and need it longer than they say and end up with it over the weekend. Yeah those that saw me at the American Heritage restaraunt know what I mean, waiting on body shops is the pits, dealin with "friends" doesn't make it easier.

I'm really flexible. I'm going to be at the Meet early and late. I know that some people might have trouble making noon. No biggie.
I don't want anyone to feel like they're under the gun.
I'm in the same boat as some of you. My truck is down. If I'm lucky it will be done for the Meet.

Anyway, it's back together and driveable, I just have to pull a vacuum on the A/C and recharge it. Started at 3, was test driving at 5:30.

I dropped into the cyberworld for a few minutes. I've been occupied with the truck. I've been making progress. I'm having a fuel line fitting shipped overnight so if I'm lucky I will have the system done Friday. There's a little more work to be done after that though.
I had to drop the fuel tank today. I took my diesel bath and I smell like it. Even got some in my eye. (yes, it burns)
As soon as my third hand gets here I can finish installing my bulkhead fitting in the tank.
Oh ya, I'll have a fuel filter bombing secret for the guys at the Meet.
I can't wait !

Nah, it's just a slight drip. It's just annoying. It's a waste of fuel, and environmentally unfriendly. Shouldn't take two weeks to get a part. How about people who depend on their trucks to earn a living.
Well I just printed the final directions to Petro's and got their phone number there as well so I am set, shame no time to give my beast a bath, meh it ain't that bad, just don't look too hard underneath........ "only" 112 miles each way see ya around Noon. Patrick you gonna make it?aka njoverkill

Called Videon today - thay have "no idea" - the one part is "still" backordered.
