so what does everybody think of me driving the 120miles back home on whatever is wrong with my front end?? figure its been clicking for a month or so no big running home where I can be in the shop.... 3/4" impact will be really nice for pulling that axle nut.... otherwise I'd have to buy a 1 11/16" nut here and hope that I could break it... (no autoparts stores around here carry one to rent that big??)
had first hard start in over a month... first time I parked nose down on my driveway in over a months as well.... weird.....

I would say chances are you are ok...but keep an ear out for any more noise. Dont want the tire falling off going down the road.....i have heard of some Fords doing that....but 44" tires were involved......sorta the same bearing design....

BrIan....Good luck with the wheel!!!
I hope ya'll can bring some tents are something, because im not going to be able to help out with the camper this time. I can't come Friday....I gotta work. Hopefully I can join ya'll Saturday afternoon at Sedalia after the dyno day. Im going to just stay as late and as long as somebody is up....and then head back home this time. My vacation time balance has been dwindling away...

and this was one of my personal favorites.............a 2001 Ford F450 repowered with a 93 Cummins 12 valve...........made pulling that sled look very very easy!!
