What was your address again? I'll leave a somewhat working pump under your hood and $100.

How much money have you spent on your truck in the last 6 months?

I see a day in the not to distant future when the mighty, but silent family SUV sounding, 3rd gen will routinely pass those VP failing "antiques" yall drive.
Hmmm lots said seeing that you were not there to play on this dyno.... So when was the last dyno that both of us ran?? Lewisville or Bob's? When I ran over 500??

Dropped a good amount of cash on the 'ol Dodge in the past 6 months... But, I get out of it a bulletproof head(I hope, knock on wood ), ur running a stock 3rd gen prone to cracking head right?? I have a bulletproof dual disk towing champion clutch, your running a factory slushbox that you think is going to hold up to 460HP for much longer (I see some serious $$$ flying around here soon, but then again it's not really 460HP unless you ever bring the foot to the floor )......

And hey yep our VPs are a PITA sometimes , but they still provide us better fuel mileage when working and in stock form they routinely run over 100k.... Yep I've spent a pretty penny on the 'ol Dodge lately, but I only paid $16,000 out the door tt&l...

To each his own!! I have to worry about injection issues and be paranoid about wheel cover clickage! and you have to worry about about a prematurely worn out front end (track bar and bearings right? bearings $300 a piece I know ) a tranny that may give up the ghost any day, cracked head.... BUT MOST OF ALL you have to worry about a stripped out radiator petcock!!!! j/k Robert!!!

I'm kinda thinking Robert could just throw the sleeping bag out in that grass island in front of his house to get chiggers on it. I've got a bunch of bites on my ankles.

Don't like hearing that! I was out back laying in the grass trying to get a floor jack through 12" tall weeks!

Matt, Isn't there a chapter in Stephenville, with you as President.... or didn't anyone show up?

Surely it isn't due to the substantial withdrawals from the Cummins "bank account"... I'd expect the internals to hold up quite well for at least 250K with wise bombing?

From having my head off and RJs diligent oil sampling I have no reason to believe that these engines cant make 250k at bombed levels. I just think we have some injection issues, but I could be wrong...

Nothing from this picture leads me to believe that these engines cant handle good amounts of HP for a long period of time. This was a cylinder from my truck with a 125k, 30k of those being over 400HP:

Not even the slightest groove or wear ring... Only some soot that could be wiped away easily... Beautiful crosshatch still...

Yeah, the instructor loaned the g/f and her friend Glock 17s to shoot for the proficiency test. When they finished, she said she liked it MUCH better than the Beretta I had that we practiced with. Now I just have to figure out what I want. I think she still wants to stick with her snub nose 38.

Boy I opened up a hornet's nest with my "Smack" talk didn't I...
You do know I was joking with every word, right? We are still on the same team, right?

Don't worry, I will be dropping every bit as much money as you and then some in very short order. Still waiting on my quote from James on the trans!

Yes I dyno'd at Lewisville and at Bob's within 1 hp of each other. I agree my slushbox will need replacement....but it is not showing any sign of it so far. It will get upgraded before it fails. (I hope).

I think Mike has the solution for my front end problems. Hope so, because those 35'' MTs need stability!
