Hello all, sorry took a drive up to Maine this weekend with the wife and the little guy...how is everyone doing? is it a general show or just cars or what?

 

Not for nothin Tom,. but I'd be more interested in the Hooters show....... either the one on 17 or the one of rt 4.

 

Want to roll down to Hooters instead? It doesn't matter to me where we go. Anyone else interested in rolling down to Hooters on Route 17?

 

Either one would work for me. Neither is really very far and both are the same distance. I'll be there as long as I'm not under the truck trying to get some of the maintenance stuff done before the annual family trek to VA Beach next month. I've still got a bunch of stuff to get done before we leave.

Where specifically?(town) Might be a bit of a ride for an evening, but what better is there to do?! Y'all should come up this way some time to the Chatterbox on route 15. Every Thursday night is bike night, then Friday/Sat. are big car show nights. HUGE turnouts for the bikes, its crazy, I will try to snap some pics one of these nights. Not much else up here, 'cept for some bars and farms, and lots of stupid people.


On a good note, stopped into big brothers house tonight after work, hooked up his boost gauge, got it up and running for him before he got home from work. He was grinnin big time when he finally got home and I tossed him the stock intake bolt. Naturally, this required a test run. I need straight pipe...

 

The Hooters on 17 is in Paramus. Last time we went, there weren't a lot of cars, but the conductor made it known that we were there.

 

gotta call them up and see if there are any shows at Hooters this year at all, tomorrow night in wycoff sounds more likely to happen. I mean it would be nice to have some hot beer and cold wings, served by the blonde who said it that way, then corrected herself to say cold wings and hot beer.........

 

Yeah, those places are a bit of a ride for some cold wings and hot beer. Besides, 'round here we prefer them each prepared a little differently

 

Lets stick to wyckoff for this week and look into hooters or others for future.

Ohyeah it is a descent ride probably another 15 min past steve's place.
I would be interested in heading up your way have a friend up that way and give me an excuse to visit maybe

 

sounds good Junior, I'll try to make it, should be lesstrouble tomorrow, gave my ride a fresh fuel filter today Had a bit of a stumble after start and figure a filter might be what it wanted, or could have had a partially pinched gasket. what exit is it off of 208 again? or is it off 287, I forget???
EDIT: Steve, it is a large informal carshow. but a bunch of us regulars show up and toss a lil smoke their way, and let em know the train tracks are still in use.........

you say this place is about 15mins. past where we have been meeting up? looked further than that on yahoo maps. Maybe I will try to make one depending on what time this all goes down...
