Good to hear it. Is there anything I should bring, or that would be useful. I planned on bringing some tools, basic wrenches/ratchets as well as screwdrivers, wiring tools, etc. You say you need a 12V power source, what kind? Something we can draw off of a truck? I have a healthy Optima Redtop I can bring down if it will help. Let me know.

Ohyeah, I guess that would work. I need to hook up a 12v power source to the power wire on the light bar in order to change the flash patterns. I will print out the instructions I got from the manufacturer and bring them with me.

I will also have some basic tools with me. If anyone needs anything specific, post up now. You guys will both need drills and magnets (for any metal that falls into the manifold) for doing the pyro gauges. May want to bring a creeper with you as well. The ground is not really forgiving if you have a bad back.

Oh well, back to my morning coffee......

Cheers

Well, I will throw it in the back, and if you can use it, it will be there.

And about that morning coffee idea, off to get me some of that...

OH man, just got my Predator/Puck in the mail today. I am dying to wire in the puck and download some power, but want to wait until after next Wednesday when it goes in to the dealer for final checkup before warranty is gone. Gauges are slated to arrive here tomorrow instead of Friday now ... EXCEPT for my beloved boost gauge

Me neither man, really want to do it up tonight and play with it this weekend, but figure it best to just wait until the dealer is done with it Weds.

UPS says the gauges were delivered today, but haven't gotten the "There is another box that showed up for you today, do you know what this is?" phone call

Why are you repainting the DSS?

this thing is getting closer to the day, so this acts as a bump and a how my day went ...... Got into work and got ready to fuel up quick and get on my way to NY state, but got the word that they needed "my" F650 w/ 8.3 Cummins , so they give me the old 92 2500 Dodge with the 5.9 automatic....... no biggie job is only 80 miles one way. Get in and drive up have aday of it, and drive back, engine purred the whole day and was surprising to see how a motor with that low a hp just walk up those hills on the thruway. O btw, truck has 225 thousand miles on it, oil changed twice a year whether it needed changing or not !

Isn't it convenient that its always your truck? Thats the kind of stuff that happened to me, especially when towing. I always got stuck in the '97 International with the 444E, 5spd, and 300k plus instead of the '03 International with the 466 and 6 speed.

So we are meeting at 2 or 2:30 on Sunday?

I can bring it along if ya like, but understand that I will be the one taking it home

Is it cool if my brother tags along with his '03 2500? He is looking to install his boost gauge one of these days, and wanted to see where folks were putting them/what all he might need that he doesn't already have.

And if ya have any experience with overhead pods and Isspros, please see here

I am taking after Tom in exterior mods. last night almost died, came around a corner on 511/ resevoir rd coming from westmilford and there is a white Ford coming at me in my lane

Swerved to get out of way but our mirrors hit and BOOOM. My mirror got ripped off and took out driver side window all over me, covered in glass. Called 911 and smokey came, other guy never stopped

Police put APB out for him but don't know if they got the edited by admin, part of me wishes i didnot swerve so he would take on bumper but then there would be a lot more problems.

So damage is hood creased from his mirrors, bunch of black plastic scuffs on the paint, need new driver side window, and new mirror(did not find any piecesthat were left.)

What a sucky night

Anyone have a wheel i can try to get marks off paint??????
