Pinks tv show from the Speed channel is coming to "The Rock" for an episode of their non-pinkslip racing (10,000 prize money). Saturday April 7th is the day. I'm going to try and make this one. I realize there is a big DHRA event along with Mopars at the Rock the following weekend, but this may be too good to be true and I have a conflict for the 14th. Should be fun. Anyone interested post their intentions and see if we can't organize a gathering. Hope to see some of you there, Matt

As soon as I can figure out if I can get off work that Friday. I will register and be heading that way to see if I can get me some TV time. LOL

All right there will be at least one diesel entered. I know as of Friday that spots available of the total 300 were getting slim. I'm crewing on at least one of my buddies diesel unless anyone else is participating that needs help. My truck is not fast enough to particapate (12.99 or less 1/4 mile) but I'll be there and it'll be a ball just to soak it all in!

Any body leaving from Jacksonville Nc area or on the way if you dont want to drive may be a car pool . But you guy probally Don't want to leave your truck away from the strip even if you are not racing.

Well, I guess I'm not too good at judging hell or high water. I didn't end up going. Mike D and I went to test and tune Thursday night at Farmington on the 1/8 mile for our buddy bbuchanon who we were going to be crewing for. He had changed a few things about his truck and had a few failures he had fixed so we were trying to help him get it dialed back in. We really struggled Thursday chasing the tune (about .4-.6 off). Brian went on to Rockingham Friday so he could get some 1/4 mile test and tune passes in. He never really could find it. He was about 7 tenths off where he was last year and a second or so from where we thought he'd be this year after some upgrades (mid 12's). Since Brian couldn't find his combo, Mike and I decided not to go. Pinks didn't choose his time grouping anyway, they chose 10 second cars. Wish Brian luck in finding his tune this week before MATR. Sorry Brian, it was a noble effort and wasn't for a lack of trying!

I don't know when it will air. I'll try and check with Brian and see if he knows.
