NC Chapter 18

Just curious if others are still out there and are interested in doing something before the end of the summer. I know summer has not officially started, I was just feeling things out. Especailly with school coming to a close shortly and vacations. If any one has any ideas, post, if not I will try to come up with something to do.

I was starting to wonder if the NC Chapter was going to do anything again myself. How about a garage day, I've been waiting to install my gauges hoping we would have one.

Sorry, I've been out of the loop for awhile. I was training in Ft Polk, LA for 6 weeks and just got back. Also, I just got married and am preparing for my 6 month deployment coming up shortly. The summer is pretty much a wash for me. But a garage day in early June sounds good. I'd like to see you guys again before I leave. Goody, what do you have in mind and when. I'm up for it. I think Mike's idea of a garage day would be fun.

Welcome back Terry. It would be nice to give you a proper farewell before you leave. The only weekend in June that I couldn't make it would be the weekend of the 12th all others are fair game.

Welcome back and congratulations on your marriage. I had no concrete plans just some sort of get together for a day, I was just taking in ideas and then trying to come up with something. The garage idea sounds fun, I haven't gotten my hands dirty from a Cummins since I installed my fuel pump. As of right now I have all my weekends free or at least until my wife decides to make plans without me knowing.

Terry it may be easier to decide something around your military obligations since they are harder to change.

June 6th is the only weekend day I'm not available. I'll be up in Moyock, NC from the 6th to the 11th for training. Other than that, game on. Better to lock in some plans now before the wife puts her hooks in me . You guys name the date, time, location, & event and I'll do my best. If it's down by the beach it would be an easy sell for the wife. Either way I'm looking forward to something.

Terry,
I was hoping we would be able to see you at the Claremont meet this July, but obviously that isn't going to happen.

Be careful on your deployment, We will hook up with you another time. Congratulations to you and the lovely bride

If ya'll want to come to Rocky Mount, my house is available Saturday. If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll find a meeting place.

David, Sounds good to me, thanks for the offer! I'll be more than happy to bring my guages. Do I need to bring any tools? I bought a set of Isspro guages, I have FP, Boost, EGT.

Phil, Sorry you can't make it.

Bring it on, Mike. I think I should have the tools covered. My house is kinda hard to give directions to, so I'll think of a meeting place somewhere around I-94 and US64 and post it tomorrow. Any other takers for some wrenching?

Hey David,
Man I wish I could get up there, but we just bought a house and need to be out of the older one by the end of the month. the wife would string me up if I tried to leave her home to pack.
I would love to see the bumper in person, and I have a bunch of stuff that needs to be installed on the truck. oh well maybe next time
