There should be more than enough people in MI to get together at least once or twice a year!
Judging by DD's post, the President seems to have vanished?!
Is Don (aka Redleg) and Herb still around? I don't know any new members from MI since I've been gone for like the last 7 months!

Who would be interested....
I guess somebody needs to step up to the plate and fill in while Dewain tends to business. I for one would really like to have a Meet-N-Greet Smoke-Out!!! Here's is what I have found so far,
A & A Machine
6006 N State
Davison, MI
810-653-1891
I talked to Steve there, he said if we wanted to have a get-together and run some dyno runs he would be willing to have it there. As far as pricing goes, he would need a good estimate on how many trucks would want to make the run(s), he then would adjust the price. Steve also states that his boy (who will be running the dyno) has a Cummins Dodge that he has been tinkering with and would be happy to help us out. I will take a run by A & A later this week and see what kinda space he has for us to park and meet. This seems to be as close to the center of the state that I can find with a dyno. If there is not many that care about the dyno then I will start looking a little more like Saginaw or something for a place, if anybody wants to chime in with a different area, please speak up. I have the area, pole barn and a fire pit with lots of wood, at my place and would be willing to host it here if the dyno thing does not get any or enough interest. I'm thinking the 1st or 2nd weekend in December. Lets see if we can get some action in the MI Chapter. Let me know.
Regards, Tim.

Hey Tim, I would be interested in a get together. I don't know about getting on a dyno, I want to but my truck is not ready. I have injectors and turbo for it, but it might be spring time before I'm ready. Any kind of get together would be fine with me. If my brother is not busy I think he would be interested also.

I wouldn't mind getting together... not all that interested in doing the dyno thing, since my truck is stock... There's been a couple Christmas dinner get togethers up in Traverse City, but something closer would be nice!

Wife has told me that we have a get together already planned for 12/3/05, so it would have to be 12/10/05. So far nobody seems interested in the "Dyno", so unless anybody speaks up I will scrap that idea. Just getting together can be done probably about anywhere, it sounds like it is going to be a small crowd. Any other places that come to mind in "Central Michigan", Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Midland...I here thay have a Casino ? or like I said, my barn and fire pit is open!!! Anybody else a member of the Moose? they are pretty much everywhere, usally pretty good food and cheap drink.

I think it would be nice if there is enough interest to meet sometime after the first of the year. I do like Boones, but that is quite a haul for a lot of us. I think someplace like Mt. Pleasant or Lansing would be better. I think going to the casino in Mt. Pleasant would be cool. They have a good buffet and you can also throw nickels at the slots. Any other ideas? Any place but McDonalds!

I just count wind of this. I am not real interested in the dyno now either, maybe in the summer sometime when we can stand around and watch without freezing to death. I would be willing to meet, Mt. Pleasant or Lansing sounds fine to me also, just let me know what everyone decides. The casino has great food , not real city there either. We would probably have that cops following us around in Lansing thinking it is a gang or something There are a lot more places to eat around Lansing though. Were do most of us live? Lower LP or are there some in the UP and upper part of LP? If most are lower we should just meet in Lansing. JMO
