I am back home again and on vacation this time. I get to drive all the way to Austin, TX tomarrow and stay the week with my family, then drive to Miami, FL to go to disney world and spend time with my wife's family. The
1st Monday I am home, I fly out again on a business trip for a week. I see a new exhaust in my future.

Not sure which one, either motoblue or MBRP. Also, I installed a 10"sub in my truck.. Much better now!!

Sound like you have some busy times ahead Joe. When did you find time to put a sub in that truck? Hope you enjoy your vacation and try to relax for a while!!! Next week seems to be a popular week for vacations! I'll be playing with my other toy this weekend (the boat), then back to work on Monday

Another sound question....i'm hearing a what I think is a grinding sound coming from the front of the truck. Is it possible to overtighten lug nuts? Could it be from all the plastic Lenard and I removed from the intake? Could metal shaving from the pyro we drilled out be in the turbo or something?

Couldn't be the plastic, nor is anything in the turbo.

Is it all the time, only when turning or braking, when taking off,.....?

Sounds like when the turbo is spooling up....about 35-40 mph, I'll have to listen again to hear. Not when I'm breaking.

Hmmmm. grinding is usually a bad thing. I have never heard of shavings from a pyro probe install causing problems,....never.

You could pop the intake tube off and check for play in the shaft by moving the wheel around a bit...........

Did you get a boost gauge too?

I'll check around when I go out to lunch.

I have a boost gauge, just not installed yet, acutally none are installed, we just drilled out the pyro and installed it since we had it lifted up.

Scotte I saw that ya called, i was on the phone discussing diesels with a duramax guy.

Just so ya know I wont be needing the cave tomorrow because I don't have everything i need ready to go together yet. If I can borrow the old mans truck I would like to come pick up those large heavy objects of mine that are in the cave taking up your space.
