I'm in Bowling Green, KY, so depending on when and where you meet I might be interested....It's not too far of a drive to the south.

I was thinking in or around Nashville. Seems to be some from north of Nashville, it's only a little over an hour from my house...without rushhour traffic. Lots of parks etc, to meet but ideas of what to do at the meets would be up to the group....and your more than welcome Wrglr if we can get a good enough base group to start us off...wonder how many that is??

It really sucks not having reliable internet at the house. I've got to check it here at work. I've already got in trouble a few times about playing instead of working Oh well.

Maybe you should try to set something up kinda local. Maybe something simple like at a restaurant. Just for a meet and greet sorta thing.

With that said I'll probably be busy I've got to work this Sat. Hopefully dynoing next Sat. Running up to KY Sun. Then The weekend after that the parents are flying in from CA and I'll be over in Gatlinburg the whole weekend. But I'm open to suggestions.

 

Any ideas on a place to eat/meet? I'm thinking somewhere around Nashville, north/south either way is fine for me. I am only really familiar with Lavergne/Smyrna area and Cool Springs so if I pick it will be somewhere around there. I know there is a Hooters off I65 in Rivergate? I'll have to look at my work schedule, hate to plan something and have to work

I know Oct 7th is out, tractor pull. Let me look at the Calender, you guys through out some ideas. Im thinking mid october, saturday or sunday? It's up to you, my schedule is wide open(never plan to far ahead).

 

The drag truck at Ceder City Diesel is a Dodge 4x4. That thing is FAST. it's down right now because he is building a new motor to go in it.

As for a new chapter. I live in Burns and work in the West End area of Nashville. There are quite a few of us diesel geeks where I work. I probably wouldn't make it to many meetings, but would make it to dyno days and stuff like that.

Is anyone going to the pull at the Dickson fair tonight? I know some of the guys pulling....it should be pretty good.

Cotton there's a dyno day with chapter31 in Tupelo on the 16th. I'd like to get out to the fair. I've missed all the others around this area.

Any place for a meeting is okay with me. Everything is pretty close to where I'm at.

 

Dang it i didnt know there was a pull at the Dickson fair.

Im pretty much open to anything. Anywhere in Nashville is good for me as i live about 5 minutes south of downtown off I-65.

 

And I thought Decatur or Tupelo was a long drive!
Well actually, from here there is very little difference in the distance to Nashville or Decatur. Both are almost twice as far as Tupleo, which is "only" 108 miles.

Anybody want to start Memphis Area chapter?

It's only about 2.5 hours from Memphis Prospector! You and Dmax are welcome if you feel like a little drive....don't know about the Newcastle though??

 

hey guys, sorry, i've been absent from the thread.
Boz007- you have no excuse, i posted about the dickson pull in the Springfield TN pull thread like a week ago.
Cotton- you aren't running the white reg cab with stacks that pullin in the Robertson fair are you? thought yours was one of the names that "Got Smoke?" mentioned, not sure it was a little loud at the fair, lol.
i like the idea of a rivergate meet that's nice and close for me, i'd rather it not be at Hooters if you guys don't mind. that's also a quick shot for anyone in KY.

so anyone go to the Dickson pull? how was it? i wanted to go but was out of town last night.
