That is what I was thinking. If I remember right, 97 runs into 50 East in Annapolis. I will be at white hall rd before the bridge.

May not be the best weather for a 65 mph run up the Patapsco into the inner harbor for some Hooters wings, but it should be ok for playing around in the trucks.

If not, I've got a fridge full of beer.

We picked up about a inch or two down here. Roads should be good in a little bit for us rear-wheel drivers.

The turn out was pretty good. The track left a lot to be desired. Big lifted trucks won everything.

TJ's first pull

Well TJ did great today. They made him pull in the unlimited class. He took second and that is something to be very proud of.
We had a great turnout and quite a convoy going over to the eastern shore too. thanks to all who came out to give support to TJ & Brad.
Brad didn't fair so well when a front drive shaft U joint spit out the caps and ended his day.
here is the video link.

thanks for the tow down and back and the video scott.

thanks to everyone who came to support me, and its kind funny watching my pit crew go to town when loading and unloading the trailer. i hardly ever touched the chains at even tho i didnt ask any of those guys to step in!

it was a fun day and i learned an important lesson...vp44 trucks dont run very well or pull very hard at 3800-4000rpms with the sled behind them

Is that why the truck bogged down 3/4 of the way through the pull?

Congrats on the 2nd place pull. Not bad for a rookie puller
Why did you have to pull in the unlimited class?

any injectors or turbo upgardes they asked people to be honest and bump up, 8200lbs stock class was allowed chip, intake and exhaust only.

the reason it bogged down is because it was bouncing the tach at 4k and i let off trying to get down into the power band but the track was horrible and nobody could keep the revs down, everyone was spinning.

there was an 03 gasser chevy that moved the sled 4' and spun out and it really wasnt a weak truck or stupid driver...just a bad track and really goofy sled
