Sure Dave, that would be OK - 6am, as usual, I guess. If it's just you and me convoying, we can always meet at the Diner on WC Pike, just past the Sunoco where you and I met last time.

Let's see if Cody and the gang want to meet in Exton?

Hellooo, Cody, are you out there?

yea im here. just aint been over here in a while. we'll be there 6 am prolly with both trucks. we got the turbo yesterday and were still in the break in period, but thats only 20 miles so, next week im gonna change the IP AGAIN. so we'll be good to go. cya all at 6.

BTW the turbo is awesome, out the exhaust it sounds like a 6.0 powerjoke at idle and with no boost, its awesome.

Gonna have to beg off this meeting. It is close to 300 miles away, and with diesel prices over $3 a gallon and me out of work I just cannot afford it. Hope all have a great time.

OK, another change of plans. I will be leaving Salem around 5:30 AM Saturday, will be in Chippewa around 6 AM. Is anyone from Chippewa, Aliquippa, or that area going? I would like to hook up with someone to make the trek. Looking forward to meeting some people and putting faces with names, and talk some shop with you guys. Are there any hotels around the area, do we sleep in the truck, ...??

Dillsburg, where Kauffman's is located, is near both Gettysburg and Carlisle - within 1/2 hour drive of each. BOTH are loaded with hotels. Do a web search - hundreds of rooms for reasonable this time of year.

I am thinking about coming down with a friend of mine, been wanting to go to an event such as this, but nothing like this around my neck of the woods, I think this would be the closest. Do any of you guys think it would be worth the time and money to travel down there from Maine? I dont want to make a long trip and be disappointed. Thanks

Come on down....! This is the best event on the East Coast all year. Usually there is a whole caravan from the Boston area that attends.

Well Time Is drawing near and I need to slip in and see whats up here.I will apologize for my absence and silence but I am running myself ragged at work with 6 day mandatory work weeks and trying to keep my sisters house and property checked on and maintained in the Norfolk,VA area twice a month after my last work day.She was sent to Louisiana right after the first hurricane and now is in Texas working with medical teams there. At any rate this will continue for a while as she and her medical team have been asked to stay on until at least Thanksgiving. So my weary butt from driving gets a couple weeks more of extra rides until she returns.Anyway, enough with that and I will slip in a few notes and comments........

Vendor Questions....
There will be no vendors on hand this year as many were not interested.

Our annual giveaway's for those who dynoed....
With recent events here in the country which happened many decided to pass and wait until next year for Business reasons which all of us can completely understand and can support them on.Our chapter wishes them all well the rest of the year and looks forward to their return next season.

Now with that said....
Its still on and trophies will be given to the winners in each class.A Plaque for Highest Torque number is also to be given out.We hope all who come out and play enjoy themselves as no matter what happens a good time can be had.So who can knock off the big numbers laid down by Dockboy,Jetpilot and F8TLDOSE?????.OR who wants to take a pool on which members truck will need the aide of the Mason-Dixon TDC truck removal crew(aka-the guys who pushed out Dockboy last year)?.

We will try and start somewhere between 8-9am both days depending on weather.Dyno costs remain the same at $70 for 3 spins with HP/Tq readings.Dually owners we need the outside tires taken off also, tools and equipment will be provided to do the job.Stack owners will either have to drop their flex pipes or allow us to slide the pipes over so the exhaust can be exited outside the building.I will have the neccessary cards for you all to fill out for us to dyno you and if anyone needs to be done so they can leave for whatever reason early please see me and I will do what I can to help.M-D TDC dues are due this weekend and can be paid to Scott at the show As we have done in the past.

I have to ride to Virginia tommorrow to make a check of my sisters property and do what needs done down there.I will be late getting back but will check in and see what needs to be addressed.Time is near and the funs about to begin............Andy

This is not good news. Andy, what happened? No one wished to participate? Vendors were always one of the big draws for the show, especially for those who may not wish to dyno.

i will be there on sunday as stated before with a truck full of parts and ford friend close behind (he cant keep up with a cummins) im ready to dyno and see what the beast can make...this will be my third time at kaufmanns so this time i want to actually get it on the rollers and find out how it does.

i also just got my stacks and edge comp on 2 days ago so she will make a bit more than she used to with van aaken under the hood, but i am maxing out the turbo.

while i am there i will be looking for some help form any folks who think they can help me make my wastgate adjustable so i can turn the boost back to less than 35psi, keep things efficient and maybe a little cooler. my wastegate is a banks version and is set to open at 43psi, so if anyone thinks they can help let me know
