We just have to let Crossy go right on by...
You ain't kiddin' Dave, that was getting too rich for this (getting older) boy. I have had a clean license for almost my entire drving years, and don't want any points now. My insurance is high enough because of a little...uh... crease I put in one of our company vans with my truck while backing into a space 6 months ago. Clean driving record, and USAA jacks my rate 15% for that. What would a REAL accident or points do?

I'm finally gonna make it up there, got my schedule cleared. Dave, if you're not booked already I'd like to get my kdp killed. I should have that flange real soon so hopefully I'll get the 35 on by then.

Sam,
Let me know what time you want to leave and maybe we could convoy or just take your truck if your only going for one day. I don't plan on dynoing and don't have any mods to do this time

I'm probably gonna plan for the 16th, my old school's homecoming is the 15th I believe and I have to escort my fiance so she can crown this year's queen. I don't have a clue where I'm goin or what time to leave so you're definitely welcome to ride along. Her younger brother might be coming so it might be a little tight but as of right now he's not planning on it. I'll let ya know in the next week which day for sure and you can pick the time.

Here are the classes for Fall Brawl 2005!

STOCK- This class is limited as in the years past to the following mods, air intakes and aftermarket exhausts.NOTHING ELSE!.I am going to try and figure a way to make all the years competitive with each other as the newer common rail injection trucks have way more HP than the older rides. Those caught with other unapproved mods in this class will forfeit any chance of winning anything. Please be honest owners, this is a fun show and I'd like to keep it that way.

MODIFIED-This class is limited to a SINGLE turbo with NO PUMP CONVERSIONS(example:A 24 Valve single turbo truck with a P-Pump installed)and on #2 ONLY.The use of over the counter fuel additives is permitted but NO DRUGS(this includes meth injection and water misters).Aftermarket chargers, fueling boxes, injectors and pusher pumps are all legal.Owners who run single chargers and use drugs may compete as long as their bottle has been disconnected or removed, these owners will be asked to show they did this when they enter the dyno room.

COMPETITION-This class will allow any fuel pump combination(example:P-Pump conversions),any charger(twins included) or supercharger and run on #2 alone.Over the counter fuel additves permitted but NO DRUGS(this includes meth injection and water misters).Any injector, fueling box, aftermarket turbos(twins permitted) and pusher pumps are ok.Owners who have drugs may compete but must disconnect their bottles or tanks and will be asked to show this when they enter the dyno room.

UMLIMITED-Run What Ya Brung...This is the "Don't Bring A Knife To A Gunfight Class".
Any fuel, charger configuration any amount of drugs can be used here. The only rule here is the HOOD MUST close and latch tightly. This is for safety reasons as we have seen the aftermath of a head-gasket explosion with the hood open.

Thumbs down

not to be a stick in the mud but how the heck are us single turbo guys suppose to keep up with twins? IT AINT POSSIBLE. if thats the case we may not dyno. whats the sense to being in a class where you know you'll be beat.

Also Jetpilot, like we said we are getting yet another IP and we still aint got our turbo.

Are the directions to the shop as easy as map quest makes them look?? Or is there a small twist that they missed?? If I need directions once I get closer to Dillsburg who can I contact??? Is this a kid friendly event ( say 3 year old??) Since I have not been to anything like this before I would be the one walking around cow eyed and drowling at all the power...

Now to convince the wife that I NEED to attend...

The shop is very easy to find, you can see it from RT 15. Bring the kids and wife! Everyone is welcome, this is a family event....

Hello
I am planning on attending. Leigh Ann is busy with hurricane relief stuff. She is still down in La.
We have a grand baby, daugther and son in law over in Dove Del. If everything goes as planned we will be there on the 15th.

This is a great event and would hate to miss.

See Ya
Chris

I'm gonna try and make it. Want to see what my truck will do in it's current condition.

Other than the dyno fees, are there any other costs ??

How do you get dyno time ?? Do you have to reserve it ahead of time, or just that morning ?

And since I am one of them single types, home cooked food is hard to come by.

Should I bring anything, or just some moolah to help out those who did ??

Never been to one of these things...so I am kinda in the dark....unless it is just like Test-n-Tune at the dragstrip.

Anyone from SE VA going ?

No cost other than the dyno.

When you get to Kauffman's, you fill out a card with a number on it. Then you can go about your business, just keep your eye on what number they are dynoing so you can get your truck in line in time.

Beverages, chips, cookies, etc., are always appreciated. You can join the MDTDC if you want to, dues are $10 a year, and we use them to throw parties like this.
