We're not that formal. Just show up. Last year it was cold, wet, rainy, and miserable, and we STILL had a GREAT time.

FWIW, I believe it' supposed to be a pretty nice weekend.

Hello
Hammer and my up north friends, I have a question. Or two or so.

How long will it take to get from Dover Air Force base to this event?
What is the fastest route for a saturday.
I still have the problem with the defective passenger seat on long trips they always fall fast asleep. That may work to my advantage this time, My son isn't old enough to pull the 5er so I am sure he will sleep must of the way up north. My Grand baby will be 4 months old and it will be time for her to get some diesel therpy.
I dread the thought of driving through the Richmound and DC traffic on a Friday afternoon pulling a 5er.
Thanks for your help, I would hate to miss this great event.

Remember that freedom is not FREE
Please do not vote for kerry, things will be much worse than they are now.
Take care
See ya
Chris

I will need for those interested in coming to post up what they wish to bring and I am going to tally all the boards to get a total count of what is going to around for chow.So post up your food ideas for me.Now on with the news, both good and bad......

Good News-Bad News time...
Bad first..
Due to a scheduling conflict that has arisen with his drag car Massdiesel will not be able to make our show as a vendor. The M-D TDR wishes Scott good luck with his quest for some iron in Illinois.

Good News..
The next business to join us for our show is Snow Performance.I had a long chat with Matt today and he is excited to be on board and is looking forward to next year.We welcome them on board and offer a thanks to Matt for helping out.

So here is the now corrected list of vendors and business who are supporting us this year............Andy

Papa Smurf..
The easiest way from DAFB to Kauffman's would be cross country if you don't mind some 2 lanes.I'll give you a quick overview and maybe you can see it on a atlas..
-US13 N to I-95 N
-I-95 N to Rte 141 N
-Rte 141 N to Rte 41 N into PA
-Follow 41 N till it intersects with US RTe 30
-US 30 W to I-283 W
-I 283 W to the PA Turnpike(I-76) near Harrisburg
-I-76 W to exit 236 Rte 15
-Follow Rte 15 S to Dillsburg and just south of there look for smoke signals.

I know there are other ways, some shorter some longer but in general this is a very good route. You could also go North on I95 to Rte 100 North and follow it all the way to the PA TPKE and go west, its just a tad longer, but, there is a big group leaving out of that area to come over here.PM me if you would like a number to reach me at if you have any questions.

BTW..
On the Kerry deal,I agree.I have a cousin who is a Navy joystick jockey over in the sandbox and flies F14's.If he would find out that I voted for Kerry I am in belief that my over weight and under tall rearend couldn't outrun the sidewinder off his plane,LOL.You never should change Commander In Chiefs during any type of conflict.Just my thoughts......Andy

We are meeting at the Exton Diner on Route 100 (about a mile or two south of the Downingtown/Lionville PA turnpike entrance) at:

6am on Saturday morning. About 6-7 trucks so far. A quick breakfast, we should be out of there by about 6:45 or so, which will put us to Kauffman's by 8:15 or so.

Anyone is welcome join us - should be a fun convoy.

Thanks for the information.
How long of a ride is it going from Dover to Dillsburg?

Thanks for the invite to the convoy, I plan on still being asleep at 0600. I will be leaving NC after my son gets outa school on Friday afternoon and driving up. It's about an 8/9 hour ride so I hope to be in Dover around 2400/0100 on Saturday.

I hope to be at Kauffmans around noon in time to EAT.
See Ya
Chris
