Drag Racing in Pittsburgh Pa, 5/1/05

This is the first of five(5) Diesel Power Drag Racing Series races at Pittsburgh Raceway Park(www.pittsburghracewaypark.com). This will be a Sportsman E.T. Bracket Drag Racing Series race.

Gates open @ 10 am
Time trials start @ 11:30 am

Admission will be $30.00 for racers and spectators are $10.00 and 12 and under is free.

So far, the rain looks to be comming in Friday and part of the day Saturday. Sunday looks ok as of now. Of course, they will probably change the outlook at least a few more times before the weekend.

How are things going with you? Any news?

BTW...It looks like Andy has a few of the local Duramax guys interested in Sunday's event. It should be a great day if we can get the weather to cooperate.

Justin, I'm in the process of repairing my block with Lock n Stitch, should be finished with it in time to go to Kauffmans. Hopefully the rest of the job will go a little smoother. I'll see you guys Sunday. Thanks Steve B.

Yep... This Sunday.

 

Well, looks like the weather is putting a twist on our day of racing on Sunday but it might be for the better.

As of now, the gates are opening at 12:00 with time trials at 1:00pm. They changed their normal venue to a test and tune day and are going to run our class whenever we all are ready.

So please stay tuned to the track website at www.pittsburghracewaypark.com for updates and hopefully no cancellations.

So as of now, we are still racing tomorrow.
