I was thinking about bringing our flatbed trailer too. IMO,....you can never have too many trailers when you are racing high performance diesel pickups!
Rockingham has NOT been "kind" to us in the past with both myself and Mike Dolan breaking our output shafts in the past. Johnner has said he will probably run his truck and I think Cris S. is planning on that too.

And yes Chris,........my 2006 Dodge CTD CR Pickup is still BONE STOCK!

I think I will plan on dragging the goose neck down to Rockingham. I am not racing anything. That way if someone in our neck of the woods needs a ride I can help them out.

I will be in my 2001 "NOT STOCK " truck.
I was just messing with you. I would put some miles on a new truck to let everything wear in and be happy. Then after about 2500 miles I would go for what you know.

I'm going to try and go. I'm not sure if I'll race or not. Haven't had a whole lot of luck lately, so I'm on the bubble with regards to racing my semi-stock truck.

yeah, Mike make sure somebody has a trailer if your going to race the way your luck has been....... Ah, you're due some good luck. Although if you wait a little for cooler weather, I think "Saturn 5" is destined for the 12's. Heck, just dictate your own weather and get on "the squeeze" this week and you'll be good to go!

 

Ok, for my official status. I may be there. I'm pretty sure I won't be going to Scheid's now. I've got some chores at the hunt club that have to get done before the hunting season starts and that is barrelling in on us now. Anyway, I'd really like to go but there is also a sled pull in East Bend this weekend so I hear. I'd like to try the pulling thing although I'm not sure I'm ready, I really need ladder bars.

I'll try to update as i know later in the week.

BTW, I visited Brian Buchanon today and I'm pretty sure he is coming to Rockingham. He was installing a beautiful new head today!

I guess I was going to be the only guy coming from the Western Part of NC, but the work place is already slapping me in the face for this weekend!! If something happens and I can make it I will. Would like to see some of you guys trucks!! Good luck to everyone that races, and post the results and pics/video's if you will!!!!!

"Semi Stock Truck?" I don't think so buddy! For those of you NOT familiar with Mike D.'s Truck, he has run very low 13's and cut some 1.75 60ft.times! If I could get Mike to run my "hot" TST Comp Box off my old 2002 IMO he would hit the high 12's! Mike, both Chris D. and myself are going to tow out flatbed trailers down this weekend. So,......I say "run that truck of yours this weekend!" We will plug my "hot" TST into your truck and see if we can get you in the 12's. If it breaks we will tow you out of there again.
