DHRA at the ROCK Aug 19

Hello folks

I received a flyer in the mail for the Rockingham N C DHRA race on the 19th of Aug.
The gates open at 5:00
Time trials 5:30
Eliminations 8:00

It says a $2000.00 Quick diesel purse.

I am thinking about heading over to this event, it is the weekend before Schield's big event so I will not be racing in it.

Just throwing it out there in case you haven't heard of the event.
See Ya
Chris

Hello
TimVa
It has been a few years since I was called a boy, so I take that as a complament. (spelling) ?
I am going, the list of folks that King D listed are folks that run in the 11/12 sec. 1/4 mile times.
I also plan on going to Scheid's event to see the real show of horse power to watch the Truck pulls.

I can if need be I can drag our goose neck down to the ROCK in case someone has a come-a-part. I may just do that so I don't try and keep up with the Porterfields on our trip over to the ROCK.

Don't worry if Geoffrey don't break the output shaft this week end at CPRP at the moonlight madness. That is the last time your truck will be raced until your return. The racing thing don't really mean allot to me I like the raw horsepower that it takes for sled pulling. I have added a few things since you went accross the big pond. If he don't break into the 13s we may take off the inside tires and run it that way and see if we can get into the 13 second club.

If we get to run the weather don't know what it is going to do.

See Ya

Johnner and I will definitely be at "The Rock!" I won't be racing as my 2006 is still BONE STOCK! We are also attending the Scheid Rally.

Well....... a bunch of us were suppose to be going out the 19th for one of my friends bachelor party but now since this is going on I pretty sure everyone would rather go there so I think he will pospone it until another weekend so you can count me and a couple of them in. Though he may not get married after this cause his fiance may not be to happy with him. I'm already married so it don't matter she knows I wanna go and she would rather go to instead of going out with the girls. Anyways, I don't think any of us will be running but I want to dyno my truck.

Hello
I am looking at the flyer, the gates open at 5 00 PM.
Time trials start at 5 30 PM
Eliminations start at 8 00 PM

If I remember it takes about 4 hours to get over there from the coast.
For the folks on the eastern side of N C do you see the need of a trailer, I am thinking about dragging our goose neck as just in case thing. I am not racing.
I am going to be driving my 2500 with the 4 10 gears that truck seems to get better milage pulling something than from running empty.

But then another thought I may be able to keep up with John_P on this trip with his BONE STOCK 06 truck Is It really ???????????

Just throwing it out there.
See Ya
Chris
