Isn't there a DHRA race at Capitol Raceway in Crofton this Sunday (27JUL)? I must have read it somewhere because I wrote it down on my calander. Maybe a rain date re-sked?<br><br>I was hoping to take my boys there.

I'm going to try to make the Shieds event since that will be the last one I can go to till next year. This next shutdown will go clean into Nov.

I'm going to try and make it, but I'm not sure if I will be able to get up there until after I get off work at 0800 Saturday morning. :'(
I had planned on pulling the 5er up there on friday, but my work schedule has since changed. I'm still trying to make arrangements to leave Friday.

 

I am afraid I will be driving my BMW gasser. :'( I am hoping to have the truck fixed by...... Thanksgiving, maybe. :

Hey Dennis, the drive isn't bad, if you don't want to mess with the 5er. In April I drove up there and back in the same day. I left Richmond around between 8:00 and 9:00. Got there in a little over an hour.
Drove back afterwards and was home in time for dinner. I did leave a little before everyone else though.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing if I can't get off until 0700 - 0800 Saturday morning. I'll just drive up and leave the 5er at home.
