Anyway here is some info. <br><br>July 27th Bandimere Raceway is the Rocky Mountain Cummins Truckfest. Below is a cut and paste from the Bandimere website about the event. Below that is some info about Central Motive Power that they sent me and their invite to their place on Saturday 7/26 to their open house and close up look at the Banks Sidewinder. Hope to see all of you there at both. <br><br>Over 500 trucks of all types and sizes are anticipated for the Cummins Rocky Mountain Truck Fest at Bandimere Speedway on July 27th. <br><br>Among the featured displays will be the world’s fastest pickup, the Dodge Banks Sidewinder. This Dodge Dakota pickup is powered by a Cummins diesel engine and has run over 222 miles per hour. This truck will make several exhibition passes at the event. <br><br>The event features drag racing classes for everything from full race-prepared trucks, to daily driven pick-ups and diesel tucks. Special bonus payouts are available to event winners powered by a Cummins diesel engine. <br><br>The truck show will award over 65 trophies in 20 classes for the best appearing machines in Colorado, based on participant voting. Get all the details at the event. <br><br>Smokiest Burnout Contest <br>The contest will see who can create the smokiest burnout! (one minute time limit). An additional $5 will be collected in staging lanes from participants to benefit the &quot;Race-to-Read&quot;® program, Bandimere Speedway's race-themed reading program. This is limited to the first 15 contestants. <br><br>Truck Show <br>Show awards for any type of truck in over 20 classes, plus specialty awards for: Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engineered 4WD, Best Engineered 2WD, and Best of Show. <br><br>Tuff Trucks <br>Test man and machine on one of the toughest obstacle courses in Colorado. The Sidewinder will be at CMP from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26th. We're having a BBQ and the NAPA KHOW radio station will be broadcasting from our facility, too. Our address is 6301 N. Broadway. Take I-25, exit on the 58th Avenue exit. Go West to Broadway. 58th Avenue dead ends at Broadway. Turn Right (north). We're approximately 6 blocks from there.
