Say, if someone's got an extra-deep socket suitable for R&Ring the oil pressure sensor, I would greatly appreciate borrowing it. I've got a new sensor to install, and don't have a tool to fit it!

If I get out of here 8-ish, I should get there about noon.

For anyone's who's reading this, I won't be making it. I have been put on call for work due to a death in a coworker's family, and my friends race car is without a tranny right now.

Hope yall have fun.......eat some food and make some smoke.......

We had 27 trucks dyno. It was a good turn out. John_P has all the numbers, so I'm sure he'll have a thread about the aftermath. Raised a decent amount of money for the firehouse.

The heat really hurt the numbers, at least that is what I found out on my truck.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the event!

It was probably the humidity along with the heat, but several trucks seemed to be down on power. Even my post dyno burnout attempt was sub spectacular

With that said it was a pleasure to meet you Mike along with John, Lary (thanks for the stickers), and Dave and good to see the chapter 7 guys again. Lary said the stickers are good for 25 hp and 28 mpg. He said something about having so many stickers on his truck he had to stop every hundred miles to drain some fuel out

Glad yawl got to visit my little neck of the woods again. I had a ball. Thanks to Dieseldude4x4 and the Claremont Volinteer Fire Department for hosting this event. Good company, good food , warm (maybe a little too warm far big shaggy dogs) weather, and plenty of fun. The heat and humidity may have kept some of the numbers down but, there sure was a lot of power coming out of most of little six bangers. Most impressive!
Shucks I was even told I had the best looking first gen at the meet. I was also the strongest first gen at the meet. I was the ONLY first gen at the meet. We will need to work on that next year.
John P gave a couple hearty souls a ride of their life. When they climbed out of the passenger's seat they had that grin you get after riding a very large and fast roller coaster.
Looking forward for the next one. Now where did I put my sunburn jell?

If anybody got pictures of my truck on the dyno please e-mail them to me. I couldn't get the camera to take video so I took a couple of pictures. When i went to download them none of them were there but there was one picture of the deck of Chris' trailer....

Anyways, Johns P's Red Rocket put down over 800hp and he even took a couple guys for rides in it. Heck, I think some of us would have paid for a ride if he had asked....

Tim Barber was close to that but he couldn't get it dialed in. 775hp ain't bad though.
My truck made 452hp/870tq. Exactly where I thought it would be with my mods. I'm very happy with that. I'll let all you other guys chase those high hp numbers. I'm keeping my money in my pocket......
