worst comes to worse i will drive it off the lot straight to the Event and then have you all help pull the silencer ring and mod up the intake... haha...

You can always just come down and drool all over our trucks if yours hasn't arrived yet....

Just wipe the drool off when you're done...

If that is anything else that you need please let me know. Papa Smurf, Mrs Smurf, John P and myself will be coming up together on friday to help get everything set up.

Very cool, thanks. I went to Sears yesterday and bought $300 worth of small tool sets and combination tool stuff for the raffle. I have some fuel filters and odd stuff also for the raffle. I'm going to have a big cooler there and it anyone feels like it, bring some waters and soft drinks to stock the cooler with. I think this is going to be an excellent weekend for sure.

Hello

Joel
Are we going to be able to put the campers in the field?
How much rain have you been getting up there? That would be a bad thing if you had to go fire up the "R" and pull us out.

Who all is camping this year?

I have to talk to Cris and John and figure out what time we are leaving, if I remember it is about a 4 hour ride from here.

I need to go back and read all the posts for the event, you may have already discussed the camping thing.

See Ya
Friday evening
Chris

The field is dryer than a popcorn fa, er ah, well you know what I mean. Rain has been almost non-existent for several weeks now and we need some bad. Feel free to bring as many campers as you like. Weather report calling for some today but I doubt it.

Chris:

I tried to call you on the cell phone last week and never got an answer.
I left a voice mail but never heard back from you. Give me a call when you get a chance Chris.

Thanks.

Just got back from the CVFD, everything is good to go. I'll be there between 0900 and 1000 Friday morning.
Weather is supposed to be dry Saturday and Sunday and in the low 80's.
Never did get a list of work if anything people wanted to do. Last year, I don't think we used the tools. If there is no work to be done this year, I may not load up all the tools since it takes a good while.

You'll love this. That real pretty F350 they use for a brush truck is on the way back to the dealer for the umpteenth time. Yep, you guessed it, it's a diesel. They said it's the worse truck they have ever owned as far as problems and they don't even trust it to go across the street. Started out for a brush fire a few nights ago and got a few miles up the road before it spit and coughed and backfired and died. What a shame.

Joel:

Myself, Chris D. and Cris S. will be there Friday to help you out with whatever you need! I have the raffle tickets, that "E-Z Up Canopy" that I brought last year and some "giveaways" from my sponsors/businesses down here for your raffle/giveaway gifts.

Looking forward to seeing you and all the guys again! Claremont has always been a great event.

Very well, look forward to seeing all you guys again.

Hey, didn't Jack say something about being on vacation? Wonder what his excuse will be for missing this one?
(1) elbow is half way up my arm
(2) locked the keys in the car and can't get out
(3) just ate, have to wait 30 days before travelling again
(4) cut my fingernails too short

(now peeping out the back door looking for the blue lights)
Hey Jack, come on up and see us.

Mike will not be able to attend this year. I will be bringing Jordan, my nephew, to help me run the dyno. (Some of you may already know him, he has worked Atlanta, Smokin, and Merchants)

This also means we will not have the camper so we'll be staying in a hotel this year. I have spoke with John P and we will be staying where he does at the Amerisuites.

Jordan and I will leave Georgia Friday morning and see you guys Friday afternoon.
