And 2-Stroke, I thought your numbers were a little lower than that. Shows how much I pay attention!! I may have to do a little more to my truck now since your torque is higher than mine!!!!

Hey guys, Just talked with John_P.

He's had some bad luck with trailer tires, both going up and trying to get back home. Three tires gone and counting! He's back on the road again. Talk about bad luck.

He wanted me to let everyone know that he'll get the numbers posted.

John I feel for you buddy, once one trailer tire goes it seems that they all go.......We had to replace all 4 tires on our gooseneck flatbed a year ago cause we had one blow out and then another, its amazing how fast a set of tires will dry rot if you don't use it a whole lot.

Yeah, but seems like John is always towing one of our broke trucks around somewhere. Okay, so mostly just Mike D's broke truck.

I was gettin ready to call John P, glad I didn't. Probably woulda been a bad time while he was trying to change tires.

Thanks to everyone for all the good food, you know who you are. Thanks to Joel for the organization of this successful event (and anyone else who helped him). I had a good time and saw a bunch of people I don't get to talk to as often as I'd like.
Looking forward to next year already.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the event!

Well I just got home about an hour ago!! As Mike D. said, I blew my left rear tandem tire on I-40 just east of exit #364 and in the process of trying to pull off the road as I got onto the shoulder picked up a nail in the left front tandem ending up with TWO flat tires and only ONE spare!! But,....thanks to Chris Dubie (Papa Smurf) I am not still sitting on I-40! Chris came to the rescue by taking two of the trailer tires off his gooseneck, came out to me on the Interstate and then helped me change those tires! On top of that, he followed me about 35 miles home to make sure I didn't have anymore blowouts! Chris,.....my SINCERE THANKS to you for all of that!!
As Mike D. also said, I also had a blow-out of my right front on the way UP to Claremont and owe Cris S. (masonic-dodge) a BIG THANKS for helping me change that tire on the side of I-95!! After getting up to Claremont, Joel and Sonny (Boatnick) helped me find a tire and then Sonny "shuttled" me out to the repair shop and later went to pick the tire up for me!! Sonny and Joel,...
my thanks to both of you guys too!

This is the reason that I tell everyone that I have met and been associated with some of the NICEST and KINDEST people you will ever come across right here on DieselTruckResource!! I am proud to call all of you my friends!

I have all the dyno numbers for everyone from the Claremont event but am going to start another thread in this section titled: "Claremont Results and Aftermath" since this thread has gotten so long.

Thanks again.

If you don't break, you're not trying hard enough...
